1:24 one of the most beautiful passages in neoclassical rock/metal history. And to think some people dare to say Yngwie plays with no soul. His slow phrasing here is just OOZING emotion.

From the mind of a young prodigy consumed by the fury of ambition, "Little Savage" erupts into existence. It's not just a song; it's a declaration of war, a sonic blitzkrieg unleashed with the precision of a master swordsman and the untamed ferocity of a barbarian horde. The intro riff snarls, a guttural growl that promises violence. Malmsteen's guitar shrieks and wails, each note a lash of defiance against those who dared underestimate his youth. The drums crash and thunder, a relentless rhythm mimicking the pounding hooves of a thousand horses charging into battle. Then comes the solo - not merely a whirlwind of notes, but a battle cry. Malmsteen's guitar shreds the very air, a testament to his raw technical mastery twisted into something utterly primal. Beneath the chaos, the keyboard shimmers like a spectral mist, a chilling counterpoint to the guitar's aggression. They don't merely complement each other; they duel, the guitar spitting fire and the keyboard a chilling countermelody like moonlight glinting off a sword. The interplay is breathtaking and unsettling. It's a testament to Malmsteen's ambition and the talent of his collaborators. This isn't just virtuosity; it's a sonic assault, a visceral howl demanding its place in the pantheon of guitar legends. But beneath the fury lies a chilling calculation. Like a predator circling its prey, "Little Savage" circles back to the initial riff, a declaration of dominance echoing in its bloodthirsty melody. As the final note hangs suspended, it's clear that this is not merely a display of skill. It's a glimpse into the dark heart of ambition, a chilling reminder that even the most untamed spirits crave the crown. "Little Savage" leaves you shaken, a little awestruck, and a little afraid. Because within its relentless fury, there's a spark, a promise of even greater conquests to come. And one unsettling thought: if this is what brilliance sounds like in its raw state, what monstrous forces might emerge once fully honed?

That first solo is as emotive as anything I have ever heard. Yngwie at this time was a serious modern romantic composer besides being a game-changing guitarist

4:02 - those keys after the short run followed by the simple riffing always get me headbanging like listening to a pantera song. God I love this song.

This is one of my favorite albums ever, and I like this song a lot. Does anyone know if there exists a version where the end does not fade out? I don't want a live version, but rather this version just until the complete end.

Este disco es extraordinario y una joya inigualable. Combina la delicadeza del barroco, el virtuosismo descomunal del maestro y la agresividad del metal. Es el disco que abrió el camino... una verdadera panacea.
