Welcome to this yoga class for hip strength! This is a strong and creative Vinyasa Class where you'll be working up towards the Baby Grasshopper pose, an arm balance which is maybe a little more accessible than others.
You will work through a fluid and fun yoga sequence starting with a back and core warm up in table top, moving through a modified cat and cow, to one legged downward facing dog with an open hip. You will work in to your hips through hip circles, into a lovely transition between lizard and half split, eventually setting it up for warrior to and to pulsating transitions between warrior two and scandasana. From here you'll find your way back to one legged downward facing dog, to high lunge and leaning into warrior three. Your legs get to work in courtsey squats, finalized by a seated twists. And this is where you get the opportunity to try out the baby grasshopper, just do as much as your body allows.
