Yoga for tired and achy legs 🦵 Tired legs yoga stretch WELL WITH HELS
This is a gentle yoga practise designed for tired legs. If you find you come home from work or school and have tiredness in the legs, this gentle yoga practise is for you. Yoga for tired legs is a slow flow practise and we spend a lot of time close to the mat and chilling out. In this yoga practise we hold poses for a little longer to give muscles in the legs a chance to soften and release. For this yoga for tired legs practise you will need a strap (or something similar… a towel, a tie, a belt) and a yoga block (you can use pillows or a rolled up blanket if you don’t have a yoga block). These props will help you to stretch out the leg muscles, all the way from stretching the muscles of the soles of the feet, stretching the calf and hamstring muscles, quadriceps and hips. An all round great stretch for the lower half of the body.
This practise is great to do at the end of the day if you have spent long amounts of time standing or even sitting and the legs and hips feel tense and tired.
