this video really reminded me of when i was in high school after switching schools and one of my classes as a 10th grade student was a yoga class. The teacher saw that i was a chubby girl/person and would often tell me that i can’t do yoga because of my size. I tried my best each day during her class. There were a few times where i hadn’t been prepared for class to participate because of her negativity and making me feel discouraged but also because i was going through personal issues so i didn’t participate. After going through my own personal issues, i tried my best to do yoga in high school. Also, even when i had gym class - people would make fun of me because i wasn’t “skinny” and couldn’t pace myself the way they could. It was so bad that people were making fun of me during the pacer test that we had to do. In this world, people only seem to care about skinny or fit people but when it happens to them and they get made fun of, then they feel the same way when they would make fun of other people. I’m a plus size girl and due to this pandemic, i gained a lot of weight and it’s not easy to workout and lose weight. I struggle with losing weight and where to start. Life is like a rollercoaster, we go through things up and down.

Fat shaming really bothers me. People sometimes like to say " skinny means beautiful" but that is NEVER true. Big things can come in small packages, Everyone comes in all shapes and sizes but everyone is beautiful, Everybody's different and hurting their feelings don't make it better.
