A lot of people, for years, have hated on Yoko Ono. I guess a lot of it has to do with the assumption that she caused the break-up of The Beatles. I don't know if that's true or if she was just being scapegoated so no one had to blame the explosive egos of John and Paul. Either way, I think Yoko had a unique artistic vision and was a very strong songwriter. I know people have knocked her voice, but she's singing in a tongue that wasn't entirely native to her. I think she did just fine.

not as simple as one person breaking up the beatles, especially when they were so fucking awesome, you know. she is fucking awesome though and i do put that simply xD

I am certain she was used as a scapegoat. Harrisson and Starr already left the group a couple times before the final break-up. To blame is all on her is just sad. Especially that her videos are still being disliked today. I think she is funny.

She was just more fun and creative than Cynthia lol idky people hate her so much because John sure loved her more and had more experiences with her plus more decades together I think Cynthia was less than 7 years with her compared to Yoko 3 decades straight together despite affairs and problems couples go through

Mrs. Lennon, o' Mrs. Lennon, Checking the sky to see if there's no clouds. There's no clouds, O' then, I guess it must be alright. Mrs. Lennon, o' Mrs. Lennon, Making the tea and watching the sea. There's no waves, O' then, I guess it must be alright. Silver spoon, o' silver spoon, I lost my silver spoon. And our children, o' our children, Did they have to go to war? Yes, my love, it's okay, Half the world is always killed you know. Husband john extended his hand, Extended his hand to his wife. And he finds, and suddenly he finds That he has no hands. They've lost their bodies! They've lost their bodies! Yes, they lost their bodies. Neither of them, o' neither of them Never left each other. Yes, my love, it's okay, Half the world is always dying you know.

I have a compilation of my favorite songs, my friends never shared my enthusiasm for her work. Her songs really do endure and in many ways she was ahead of her time.
