Yes, but for some reason billed as "from Polynesia." Mr. Fuji was still Japanese and came to the ring with a Japanese flag. All very confusing.

Yokozuna’s Japanese-American ringside “manager” Mr. Fuji (I forgot his real name but he used to be a pro wrestler too) was alright with it and did not see Yokozuna’s representation as stereotyping or inappropriate And real sumo wrestlers don’t have to be ethnic Japanese, various men from all over the world can also compete
