The YORK CYK is a water-to-water heat pump chiller using two centrifugal compressors in series to deliver high temperature hot water for use in commercial building HVAC applications. This video demonstrates the three modes of operation: heating only, simultaneous heating and cooling, cooling only.
The YORK CYK delivers hot water temperatures that exceed 170 deg F (77 deg C). This is made possible through the use of two centrifugal compressors in series to achieve a higher lift and therefore, a higher water temperature from the condenser. In simultaneous mode, the YORK CYK can deliver hot water at 170 deg F (77 deg C) while also delivering chilled water at 42 deg F (6 deg C) at a very efficient COP of 5. Available in heating capacities ranging from 7000 MBH - 38,000 MBH, the YORK CYK is an ideal solution for decarbonization of heating systems in commercial building applications.
