Love how it sounds. I had 2 different blue/white 1990 gsxr750’s back in the day and I kept both tuned perfectly one had a yoshimura duplex system and the other had a Vance & Hines pro supersport system.

That must be the Official Yoshimura throttle blip, You can only get it from Yoshimura Japan and it costs a fortune :-)))

This is no ordinary GSX-R750, this here is GSX-R royalty😀 This is the TTF1 spec, Yoshimura prepared GSX-R750 that Satoshi Tsujimoto and Kevin Schwantz rode to 3rd place in the 1986 Suzuka 8hr endurance race, (hence why its got a headlight). While Team HRC Honda with a RVF750 won the Suzuka 8hr that year, with GP stars Wayne Gardner and Dominique Sarron riding, Satoshi Tsujimoto won the 1986, All Japan TT Formula 1 Championship on an almost identical GSX-R (minus the headlight).

@@MZMotor95 I had a Japanese motorcycle magazine called "Racers" that did a story on it, it was written in Japanese but had loads of pictures. The one Satoshi Tsujimoto won the 86 All Japan TT Formula 1 Championship on was sold at auction in the UK in 2018 for 27,000 pounds, not bad for a piece of history. If you google "All Japan TTF1 Yoshimura 1986 GSX-R750 Satoshi Tsujimoto" you should be able to find out more. Also look up "1985 Tech21 FZR750" my favorite race bike of all time, and another TTF1 bike that raced at the Suzuka 8hr, and against the Yoshimura GSX-R750.

My father had a GSXR 750 full Yoshimura (engine, exhaust, just everything from Yoshimura) and he told me it was the best bike he ever had and he is fucked up he selled it 20 years ago.. He said not even his 1991 gsxr 1100 or bmw s1000rr (obviously the bmw is much faster than the 750 bcs its way newer) is so nice to drive like the 750 was.

Space age from its era. Compared to the modern stuff it may be a little ragged around the edges perhaps? but its ok, sounds great to me.
Change Title. It is indeed not an 1986 GSXR. For North America at least, this was probably 1987 or beyond. Regardless, wish I could run it in Vet racing here in frosty Canada. Sounds ready to Run!

It is a early flat side/slab side GSXR750. Yosh usually welds in gussets onto the frame, notably the upper rear. These have been polished making it resemble the 88+ slingshot GSXR's. A lower brace has also been added to the stock swingarm. I'm wondering why this bike doesn't have a dry clutch though....

It is indeed an 86, its the 86 TTF1 spec, GSX-R750 Yoshimura prepared, and Satoshi Tsujimoto and Schwantz rode in the Suzuka 8hr endurance race. This is a full on TTF1 race bike, that raced against full factory RVF Hondas and YZF Yamahas, the rules around engine tuning and chassis was far more liberal in F1 than the later Superbike World Championship. Satoshi Tsujimoto on an almost identical bike, but without this endurance racers lights, won the All Japan TT Formula 1 Championship in 1986.

@@timothysauder8233 Probably because parts for TTF1 dry clutches are like hens teeth and now that its used for parade laps and displays they just use a standard wet clutch. It looks like the clutch cover is newer than the rest of the engine, I know they did run dry clutches and ive seen pictures of this very bike with one, so i'm betting its like i said.

Hate it when people slam the carb piston and needles into the carb by letting go off the throttle like that.
