We were promised a future where the machines take over manual labour and would free up time for the average person to pursue arts, writing, and creative passions, instead, the machine is doing that while we are left to do the tedious, boring work. Kwebblekop is making a ridiculous amount of money doing essentially nothing, and he only stands to make more as time goes on and the amount of actual work he'll have to do will only lessen. Eventually, VERY SOON, he'll just automate his content completely and he wont have to do any work at all, and still get paid these ridiculous sums of money. That's the end goal. AI is a tool much like how a pencil is, it is simply a means to an end. It can be argued that it requires little effort but it's such a new and burgeoning tech in the way that it can be relied upon, or used for intelligent workflow. Obviously, automating an entire KZitem channel devalues the creativity and point of "broadcasting yourself" but banning an entire subset of technology simply because people are afraid of losing to it is just dangerous. There's going to be growing pains, it won't be to everyone's liking but this tech is here to stay. Even if most people agree to stop using it, those who persevere will only push it further and it will become near impossible to detect by the uninformed public. Keeping eyes on it is important, we just have to stay educated on how the tech works, it's a double-edged sword for sure.

@@ActualDavis You couldn't be more wrong. An artist's entire career doesn't depend on a tool they can't even fully control, they still have their experiences, the knowledge of composition, light, volume, etc. A digital artist could do traditional art (use a pencil) and vice versa. Give a pencil to an AI bro, and he'll cry because he needs to put in more effort than what equates to googling and still doesn't have full control of the result. Not to mention the entire part of how unethical it is and stealing copyrighted material, without consent, compensation or credit. Opt in is the only way, but that isn't being respected, and companies are trying to rush us with the fast implementation of AI, to exploit it to it's limits before any regulations take place, going for "we'll ask for an apology later, maybe" strategy, after the damage has been done. For anyone actually interested what the artists have been fighting for an entire year now, check out the createdontscrape website (can't link it on yt). @@rgonzalo511 I highly doubt that an AI would be able to properly and effectively teach children something anytime soon. A teacher has to check if the pupils are following, slow down and explain something if they seem confused, and overall they need a high level of awareness of the people around them. There's also the issue of the AI getting something wrong, or when it approaches very debatable issues. If the AI doesn't take questions, it won't be personal at all, and if it does, the child can easily reach a rabbit hole of random information. Finding a balance will be very hard. AI also cannot physically interact with a child, and there's the issue of its mental state if being taught by a computer. School isn't only for teaching classes, but it's also to integrate you into society. AI could more easily replace university teaching, but at that level the information it provides can often be wrong, especially when asked further questions. It will also lack the practical advice students need. Sure, AI for teaching sounds cool, but it doesn't have nearly the same viability as coming up with random text that you don't need to be perfect like in this case. There's a high barrier for it to become usable, and parents will also be apprehensive about letting it teach their kids for a long time even if it becomes capable of that.

You don't need a full AI for that though. Just text to speech. I could see it for real time content though 2) If the AI is doing something that you just simply can't. By this, I mean something more like editing done in real time. Like, imagine if you're watching a live stream with effects being added in that distort the camera and the streamer's audio. Maybe also different voices for rpg/ttrpg content. These are basically the only two that I can think of right now though. Everything else just boils down to a cash grab.

The AI is not really going to be able to come up with new ideas, it's only statistical mixing of previously done things that it has been trained on. Now it is possible to make AI create new ideas and creative output, but the AI we are being provided by the big corporations is all "aligned" to be "safe" and what this really means is that it's neutered as to not be a risk. @@LuckyAce203 I dont understand why would anyone be excited for AI if it's not doing manuel jobs
@LuckyAce203

@@maninanikittycat4238 exactly. I saw someone mention that. Ai was meant too replace humans in manual jobs so we could find hobbies and passions to pursue, but instead Ai is taking over those hobbies, such as art, and we are being left to do the manual jobs unless something changes

Question: What about Neuro Sama?

As a musician, this is exactly how I feel about AI in the music industry. I know we’ve all said it a million times, but I think it’s a really slippery slope. When you replace the human element, which is integral to the creative process, be it for content creation, or music, it loses what makes it special to begin with. And when AI gets to the point where it’s indistinguishable, we’ll be in real trouble. I can only hope that media consumers will side with the humans and choose to ignore AI driven content in favor for human driven content. Time will tell

We are heading for weird times. Jobs are going to dissapear, leaving society to need a big change, and we may go from creators to only consumers.

As a fellow musician I agree with this sentiment. I used to write songs when I was in sixth grade and had a relatively good audience. That audience would never have been nearly as interested if I didn't write, teach, and perform these songs within my band and if I just asked AI to write them. Part of the appeal to going and seeing a band is appreciating the creative effort that they put into that work and you lose that with the AI industry.

Pretty much every commentary/documentary style video that’s suggested to me on KZitem now is VO’d or assembled by an ai in some way. These videos still get insane amounts of views, meanwhile I’m never suggested small channels featuring hardworking, unique creators.

I think it is the way you do it. Neuro-sama, the AI made by Vedal987 has some of the most entertaining and off the wall interactions I have ever seen and Vedal puts a lot of work in keeping it entertaining. Defiitely isn't soulles like Kwebbelkop may be.

Yeah, maybe it because they are cleary showing that its Ai and not hiding the truth. And some people really want to watch Ai content for being an Ai content

@@beta2029 Don't think its gonna be hidden as much as we won't be able to tell in the future. the concearn for me isn't if its soulless or not, mor if the information is accurate or not and the flood of videos just oversaturate the market..
