I just came across your video; I was raised in FL - and conch peas were a staple. Now, I'm living in the midwest and one cannot get conch peas out here. So - I grew my own. Blanched and froze 'em, and today, I'm finally going to cook 'em. Thank you for taking me back to my mom's kitchen. Fingers crossed!

Am making your recipe now. Thank you. What do you do if you have an excess of conch peas? Do you need to blanch before freezing or cook and freeze. TY

Too bad that's not a cast iron pan!! It's getting to where rural NC is the only place I can find side meat anymore.
