FM William Graif, kinda known gambit junkie, had extensive videos about Von Popiel gambit and thing is, when reached this position, he proposes 5.f3 instead of 5.Qe2. Sure, that limits the attack, but in the end, idea is 5... exf3 6.Qxf3 targeting same two pieces, a bishop and b7 pawn. Maybe you should get a contact with each other regarding this opening.

Igor, you are a master of momentum. I see chess as a game of balance. The slopes are precarious. Even a puff of wind can knock your opponent off of the cliff. The foundational moves must be super precise. Rock on
Nice to see the blackmar diemer is still taking scalps. I play the ryder any chance I get. should be noted that after black plays Qxd4 and white plays Be3 that white has forced wins if black plays his Queen to b4 , d6 ,or e5.

I have never played Blackmar Diemer after 1. D4. It is invariably in response to the Scandinavian. I don't know why anyone considers it a D4 opening.

That's how I get into the Blackmar Dinner Gambit too (Ryder variation). But I do play 1. d4 for the Torre Attack.

I don't think it will work at 1300 I used englund gambit a lot before 1000 but after that It didn't work... The attack is very obvious in this gambit too

I tried this on every Stockfish level and not *once* did black do the mainline. You'll do a lot of waiting to employ this gambit in a game.

Each move has turns for both players so: 1. Nxe4 Nxe4 2. Qd5# . The first turn is always of white.

0:39 why wouldn't the opponent move the pawn h7 to h6. I don't see how this move forces the opponent to bring the bishop out at all.

I only play bots so pretty much any idea is a fail the bots are just too smart they know the data base your not going to trick them.
