Thank You Phil, it's nice to hear from you, perhaps I might return to videoing the playing again, as much as it's extra work, so is trying to find suitable photos or video clips to cover a recording. I have though for a while been concentrating more on recording techniques’ and sound production methods, then testing them, my recent youtube posts are the results of these sound tests. Thanks again Phil Your Comment is much appreciated Vic.

Hey Vic. What can I say, other than just beautiful, tone, production and your stunning Strat. What a great homage to your lifetime buddy, this great guitar. Truly love it! All best from Holland, Michael

Firstly lovely interpretation of the song, thoroughly enjoyed the impros. Secondly i agree with you on the Burns Marvin. Don't think it was all that hot, had one myself in the '70's. Hank is also on record in particular commenting about all the problems he had with the neck/tuning etc. It should have been an advance on the strat but wasn't IMHO. What gear used for the reverb etc, sounds nice. Rgds Bob Brown in Sydney

Hi Bob, Thank you for commenting on YDHTSYLM. For the echo effect I used an old 'Alesis Quadraverb 2' rack mount effects unit, loaded with the 'EFTP vintage echo program. If I feel the need to add Reverb, as used on this recording, I use the onboard reverb effect on the Mixing Desk. I do experiment quite a bit with various equipment/effects combinations, to try to get sounds I like. Thank you Bob, your interest is much appreciated, Vic.

I think you and I are of the same vintage Vic and we seem to have the same values in keeping our gear in good condition - what a gloss finish that Strat has! I hope you're not neglecting your Burns Marvin. I'd love to hear another track showing it off. I too have a Marvin and I think those Res-O-Matic pickups have a superb and distinctive sound. Best regards from Hampshire UK.

Hi Richard, yes I do look after my gear, it's not wrapped in cotton wool though, as all my gutars are out their cases, for me to enjoy and admire, as seeing them it's part of the pleasure of owning them. I often plug in the Burns Marvin and play about with the possible pickup permitations, The Marvin has a great unique sound, but when I decide to record, I usually pick up a Strat, no disrespect to the Burns, but the Strats sound seems to suit everything, while the Burns for me needs the right tune that suits it. I remember seeing somewhere, 'There are many great guitars worth buying, once you have first bought your Strat. Thanks Richard for your interest, Vic.
