Yay, thanks for the tag! 😀I'll enjoy doing this one, though I am sad to say I've never had the pleasure of trying Girl Scout Cookies - we don't have them over here in the UK. Really enjoyed your responses to the prompts - highly entertaining! Your bit about The Giving Tree... 😂👍

Candide was a recent purchase for me and I'm glad to hear you liked it! Can't wait to read. Also, I'm with you on the giving tree. I didn't read it until high school and my friends gushed about it as a childhood fave. I read it and was like, WTF is wrong with you guys? lol "oh no, my carbon footprint" 🤣🤣

Thank you for the tag! And I wish I would have thought of Kindles and Kookies LOL, especially considering how much I love cookies. I’ll have to really think on these questions. I absolutely love your editing style. I would never guess you were brand new to KZitem. The quality of your content is top notch! You’re my goal LOL.

Thank you for doing the tag! Here is the dirt on the Raspberry Rallys. Someone, either the bakers or Girl Scouts USA, really botched the launch of those cookies and it was the girl scouts who had to take the brunt of it. The loudest feedback Council received from troops was that they should not have introduced a new cookie when they were still trying to deal with supply chain issues leftover from Covid. So, they pulled them for this year. They might be back next year, maybe?

What a fun idea for a tag! I admit I hated Candide when I had to read it in high school, but it sounds like something I should revisit ☺ P.S. I can't stand The Giving Tree for the exact same reasons--you're not alone! 😂

I had fun with this tag, too! I read Voltaire (I think Candide) for freshman lit in college, and ... I don't remember a thing about it! It's possible I only skimmed it. I think it's still on my shelves, so I will check it out. My parents loved Jonathon Livingston Seagull in the 70's! Another one I should take a look at - I don't think I ever read it. I loved American Dirt - like you said, it's a page-turner with a great story. I don't think you';re the only one who feels that way about The Giving Tree! Your channel is brand-new?? How on earth did you get 960 subscribers so fast? Wow, that's impressive! This is my first time here (so now 961) - nice to "meet" you :)

After selling Girl Scout cookies for 12 years I just donate money to the troop now. When I started selling them they were 50 cents a box.

I went to the grocery store the other day and there were Girl Scouts there selling their wares. I was like, you can't do this to me. I've just gained 10 pounds after the holidays. They need to start selling kale and carrot sticks or something. Those cookies are ridiculous, though. At certain sensitive times in my life, I'd have gotten a second mortgage on the house for a few dozen boxes of those samoas.

My favorite Girl Scout cookie is the Tagalong. Oh, my goodness, your favorite classic is Candide. I read it when my son Andrew read it in high school. Crazy stuff happens in that novel. 😂 Awww 🥰, Where the Wild Things Are. 💜 😂😂😂😂 The Giving Tree 😂😂😂. That made me laugh aloud. Terrific tag! 😊

The Giving Tree. 😅 I was always slightly unsettled by the ending of The Giving Tree. I too am an only child (also an only grandchild), and I don’t have or want kids, so maybe there’s something too that. 😅 I also disliked If We Were Villains. I found it so dull and boring, but I also struggle with Dark Academia as a genre.

🤣 My grandpa called me Susie, so I guess it works, lol! Thanks for the lovely shoutout! I've LOST subscribers since I did this tag, so I guess some people actually don't like Girl Scout Cookies? Sigh... (it can't be that they don't like me or anything, right?) Oh, I love Steal Like an Artist.. .and guess what... pretty sure someone has stolen my copy. As for The Giving Tree...I have just recently heard it getting some criticism along the lines of what you are saying, which really does have me thinking. Hmmm. Anyway... great take on this tag! Glad to be the first one that tagged you, I'm sure you'll be getting LOTS more from here on out!
