Clark never did that to a player. She did it towards her coach. People just spun it. The thing about angel was what people were upset about her was she kept getting in her face like 4 times. I was ok about it for 2 times, then she did it 2 more times and I knew people get on her about it. People turn it into a race. They are just playing the game they love. Fans into their feelings sometimes, but people that are hating on clark are jealous and need to get over it. Can't lie though, clark is a beast. Angel is almost there, but not fully yet. Let's see if pros help her excel and clark.

Trying to be nuanced here, you have it right that Taurasi was just telling the truth. There will be an adjustment, and the WNBA has great players that are going to challenge Clark. No doubt this is true. Second, I also agree with you that there is a ridiculous amount of click bait out there that is offended by everything related to Clark. It drives me crazy. Third, it is true that many people are inclined to be a little tribal, some more than others, and that a small town white girl from Iowa checks some boxes that excite a particular demographic, just as Angel Reese checks some boxes in another demographic. This is part of the drama, no doubt. On the other hand, you are anything but neutral. You hypothesis that Angel did the same "you can't see me" thing is absurd, and anyone who watches both videos side by side would know it . Caitlin performed her "you can't see me" thing to her strength coach and not to Van Lith, and it was a .5 second thing. It was fun, and different, and she certainly was not taunting. After LSU stomped Iowa last year, Angel stalked her around the court for 25 seconds, after the game, following her around, hollering, and alternating between ring finger and you can't see me. At first the Angel thing was fun, and justified. After about 10 seconds of this, it became a bit tired and some folks got excited about it. Frankly I don't care, it was good for the game and certainly benefitted them both. Angel certainly walked away much richer than before her very smart business decision. Her fame skyrocketed, and she hyped up the bad girl thing over and over, whenever she could. It was brilliant, as she greatly increased her own relevancy while increasing the interest in the women's game. Oh and why are you ignoring that Caitlin completely defended Angel on what she did in front of the media, right after the game. Instead of giving Caitlin credit for defending Angel, you claim that Caitlin chose to become the victim. Clark told the media that Angel has every right to talk some shit, and she said it was good for the women's game. Just exactly where does her media answer imply that she is a victim? Don't listen to the click baiters, listen to Clark. Next, I find it odd that you start calling her "Princess" midway through this video. You quickly portray your true motives. This is ridiculous, and we all know it. First of all it's not remotely true. Clark is a tough, shit talking competitor who would sooner die than give up the W. Her competitiveness can go too far, so much so that she has been T'd by her own coaches in practice, and kicked off the soccer field in middle school. All of this is advertised, and you act as though she is a pretty white girl with no grit. Give me a break....Princess? Finally, I find the "it's all about race" thing interesting and devoid of data or research. Don't you find it odd, if basketball fame is all about race, that Michael Jordan transformed the NBA, and I am pretty sure he's black? Same with Magic Johnson, Lebron James, Steph Curry which are the biggest basketball earning superstars of all times in clicks, money, total revenue, advertising and popularity. Larry Bird, John Stockton and Nicola Jokic don't come close. These "black" superstars weren't popular with the entire nation because they were black or white. They were popular with the country because they played with a smile, and brought something different to the game. They lifted us up, and they made us want to have fun again. Serena Williams did the same thing with tennis and is by far the highest total grossing tennis player of all time, and Tiger the same with golf, with endorsements that dwarf most players. These athletes played with smiles, charisma, youth, and energy, and they benefitted from being the highest grossing stars of the last two generations. I love it that diverse people are getting rewarded for being different, but you want to make it about race. Caitlin Clark is different and not because she is white and has a masterful PR machine. She plays just like Curry with a smile and swagger, and shoots bombs from all over the place. She is also an amazing passer, breaking records with passing, creating a brand of basketball that was generating 96 points per game. People like scoring, the court spread out, with back cuts and slashes to the basket. It's great basketball. She also did it on a team which was a huge underdog (without her), with 1/10 the talent of South Carolina, LSU, UCLA, just look at the number of top 100 recruits that were on the Iowa team (besides Clark). It was an underdog story from a team that in previous years had no chance at beating South Carolina or UCONN, and from the Big 10 which has never had a WNCAA basketball title. It was good drama. If you still think that this is about race, then you want it to be about race. For the record, I love Taurasi, and rooted for her at UCONN years ago and I think she is smart, competitive, wise, and awesome. Brianna Stewart was awesome, but also boring. Does that make me racist? I also loved Cheryl Miller back in the day, and am a huge fan of Dawn Staley, who coached her ass off with a group of 5 brand new starters. South Carolina is a juggernaut right now, and a true dynasty. Why is it not possible that you can love Staley, respect Reese for her play and business genius, and also love Clark? You started off reasonable, and then drifted into disappointing. You don't have to do the Princess thing, or make this about race. It's more complicated than that. Let's all be better.

Michael Jordan has said he experienced racism. White people can consume these blk exceptional talents and still be racist. Stop explaining racism to us bc Micheal Jordan would school you on it. Micheal said it all the time wealthy white men tried it with him. You don't know shit. So maybe you need to get real with yourself and try to see the light. We know wtf we see and we know what we're talking about. Keep living with blinders on. This video nailed everything. It's not 1950 and we won't bow down to the PRINCESS. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

Call me crazy, but do you think Mulkey low key wanted Caitlin to win. Just like Geno, he started sounding like he was too proud of Caitlin. Feeling like tribalism kicked in for these white coaches.

That's not just off. That's batshit insane 🤦 The idea that a coach would betray her players and HER OWN LEGACY to help the opponent win, just because she's white... Man, y'all are REALLY in your feelings about a white girl being the face of women's basketball. I don't give a shit about Caitlin Clark. I was probably the only person in my local bar rooting for SC, and I was happy when they won. But the way y'all can't even give the girl her flowers is just pathetic. The creator literally says she's not going to get into the GOAT conversation for Caitlin, only to minutes later say that if Juju passes her record and wins the national championship then she definitely is the GOAT 🤦 Do you even get the hypocrisy? Frankly, I hope Juju does take the crown and become the new face of the WNBA. Just so I don't have to listen to this kind of whining anymore. Y'all need Jesus.
