Countdown to countdown is my favourite comic! I don't know how to describe it to give it justice, but the art style is so tasty and I had the pleasure of seeing it evolve over time from previous versions.

I have been really wanting to sfart a comic or animation series, but the thing holding me back is motivation. I think about starting projects but once I do I lose motivation so quickly.

I've always been curious about making a comic but have no clue where to start, you're right though it's best to just do it and improve along the way 🥰

Dennis in the little pencil hat is so cute 🥰 For anyone looking for comic suggestions, "Stand Still. Stay Silent." is something I fell in love with years ago. The artstyle is gorgeous, and the mix of old nordic mythos with apocalypse survival hooked me instantly. (And it's available to read online for free 🤩)

this lady was my childhood for some reason. 😮 nice to stumble upon her again after a billion years but I’d say I’m still not old enough.

Talk about Dina Norlund. She deserves to be celebrated and remembered. Maybe her family will republish her books and new audience will miss out if they don't know about her. I love Dina Norlund.

Thanks for this video especially the fist question really hit hard. I started a comic...well graphic novel, 20 years ago and did it all traditionally. I got two chapters in and all the panels done. I just never finished it. I find it easy to get started but never to complete it. I submitted it to a publisher and they said it wasn't good enough to be published. I just left it alone but seeing your comics i really want to try my own. I have a coloring book with blank panels to draw my own so something small to start off with and not as ambitious as a graphic novel would be a better place to start over again. PS recommended Bear nuts for online comic. I really love the characters and the story.

I'm mostly a webcomic person tbh (partly bc a lot are free lol), ngl I'm behind on reading lately and bunches I've enjoyed have gotten discontinued over the years but some favs that are ongoing or finished are BUUZA!! (Shazleen Khan), Countdown to Countdown and DPS Only (Velinxi/Xiao Tong), Heir's Game (suspu), Star Impact (Jack McGee), Daughter of the Lilies (Meg Syverud), The Flying Ship (Jem Milton), Gourmet Hound (leehama), and Life Outside the Circle (HPLehkonhn) There's tons more really good ones tho comics are such a cool and diverse medium!! Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to get a copy of the Snowcat Prince but it looks amazing!

You're work is so cute! I absolutely adore your cact-cats. I don't think I know a single online artist that doesn't use procreate now at this point, is it just that much of a game changer from other drawing programs? also, a couple cute mangas I've been enjoying recently are (Sorry for my Familiar) and (The fox and the little Tanuki) maybe you might like em too :)

not really? I certainly prefer Clip Studio Paint. Procreate is simple, which can be nice. but certain tools like its fill bucket are lacking
