Fun fact...Garfield started as a comic strip in a local paper called The Crawley News... I know this cos I was born in Crawley hospital in 1970 and used to read it each week. Crawley is a town in the county of West Sussex in the South East of England, approximately 40 miles South of London. Crawley is right next to Gatwick Airport... which I've never understood why they call it London Gatwick. I remember my friend flying in from Boston, I met her at the airport, and she thought when we went outside that she was in London! I had to explain "it's a bit of a stroll from here love" 😂

But the punishment is that you have to have a Superbowl party, which makes it even worse for you, because you don't even like it. He didn't say "if you are into football you have to throw a Taylor Swift party", he said "you have to throw a Taylor Swift Superbowl party". You aren't exempted just because you arent into it.. You think football fans are into Taylor Swift? No, but they are supposed to do it, which is why it's a punishment. What you need to say is "good thing I don't care what the punishment is because no one actually does them anyway". That's actually relevant.

Tyler love your content. I wanted to make a comment about the tax return. For the last 22 years I've been getting a fairly dependable return, and I've used it to "stimulate" the economy with disposable spending. This year is a little different story as my government saving plan turned into a $4 windfall. Special thanks to our current administration, the laundering of our taxes, because this year I'll be spending less on frivolous spending (and generosity to those less fortunate) and pooling my funds to purchase a dozen eggs if I can. Oh I did spend a little money on your book and look forward to reading it! Thanks Tyler and Deev for making my week a better place.

True story here ! 1994 I graduated from the police academy at 155lbs. In 1996 I gained 35lbs and decided to hit the gym and diet. On day, I went into the departments kitchen and opened a can of tuna fish and made a sandwich. I dumped the tuna juices down the sink drain. About an hour later, I heard the fire department called to the police department for a smell of gas. I called in and asked if they wanted me to head to headquarters and was told no. After an hour, the fire department cleared. At the end of shift, I found out the cause was not gas, but “somebody” opened a can a tuna. They found my can of tuna in the garbage can 😂😂. About 5 years later, I took responsibility. 😂😂

We moved from Oklahoma to Alaska in the summer of 1969. That winter it snowed for three days straight, over three feet. They cancelled school on the third day after two and a half feet of snow was on the ground. A couple of years ago, I was in Seattle. They warned that it MIGHT snow and classes were cancelled for the next day, even though there was less than an inch. I made a couple snowballs, put them in Tupperware and in the freezer. Threw it at someone the following May when it was 60 degrees. They were a tad bit surprised.

Similar story here. We moved from California to Alaska in 1967. That was the year of the big flood in Fairbanks. We moved into the parsonage at a church in Delta junction and found out that the well had been contaminated by shrews. We weren't able to drill a new well until the following spring. And all winter we had no running water and had to use an outhouse. We had so much snow and school hardly ever closed. But now that I'm in the Seattle area I just find it amusing when they close the schools because the road is iced over and people don't know how to drive in it.

Total opposite down South. If there's even the slightest chance of frozen precipitation, entire towns shut down. Mainly because nobody knows how to prep the roads, or drive it in. Ah, but I don't believe in "hate crimes" and do believe that people who do have no backbone and no common sense. If you feel that's the only way your position can win, then your position is fatally weak.

I've been driving my Hyundai Veloster with half the horsepower for a year now. I don't have the money for a fix. My buddy finally suggested just change the coil packs. I did and it was a $40 fix. I can deal with the fish & broccoli, back when I was in high school I worked at the Fort Knox commissary bagging groceries for tips, there was a lil Korean lady named Moon that would bring in some of the most rottenness kimchi I have ever smelt, your nose would literally dig its own grave, & when she heated up in the microwave the smell intensified.

I remember the time I flew when I was told that I could bring my water, but first I had to drink out of the bottle. Seems like that should be enough. I also remember when they offered you a full 12 oz can of soda, even on a short flight. I’m now at the point where I would drive clear across the country to avoid flying. I also remember walking to school through knee high snow. Crossing the street after the snowplows had been there was a mountain climbing adventure!

@CiroMastino I know jaguars swim and dive, but I was specifically talking about just soaking for long periods of time and I wouldn't say jaguars never do it, but I've never seen it like I have with tigers. I remember the big snow in 1977. I was 14 and there wasn't any school. Back then we usually got out for Christmas vacation a week before and most of the time we didn't go back until about the middle of January. Sometimes it would snow before our Christmas vacation would begin and we would go back in the middle of January. Those were the days. LOL
