Cons being the lack of privacy, especially for teenagers who just wanna have fun goofing around, and it's supposed to ease your mind but constantly wondering where your child is just makes your anxiety even worse. Pros being in the case of kidnapping, or a child that has a tendency to wander or sleepwalk, the tracking can be used by parents and police to help find their kid. I think liking them and not liking them are both valid opinions, to be honest.

Bringing up dead kids is incendiary and is meant to make you feel a little better about the erosion of your privacy. They would get that footage either way if they could do it lawfully. So the only thing you’re arguing for is them getting it unlawfully.

Ppl dont seem to get that trauma usually occurs when something happens you dont expect, or that doesnt belong w/how reality works (instinctually). That old man? Hes lived a life. He knows dogs do that; therefore very unlikely he will get trauma from it. That little girl getting drug around by her mum, dressed like a cow, taking copious amounts of candy while others exist? That little girl wont be forgetting that night any time soon. Thats potential trauma, as it doesnt jive w/how "reality is suppose to go".

one time i was at my situationships house to spend the night and i left early bc my stomach was acting up. i told him i got called into work the next morning bc i was embarrassed. as soon as i got onto the porch i let out 2 of the loudest wettest farts i’ve ever experienced. i forgot that ring cameras pick up audio and he sent me the clip the next morning. i haven’t heard from him in 2 years.

ok so the dog humping the elderly man is actually concerning. i’m disabled and learned from our dog trainer that dogs can sense when someone is vulnerable, and if they have some underlying aggression issues they’ll assert dominance over them 😬

My dog is the sweetest German Shepard when I fall out my wheelchair she gets so concerned and starts licking me like crazy My mom thinks she doesn't know that I can't walk but I know animals are a lot smarter than we think. She knows and I'm glad I can trust her with my life 🤍
