@@hexensage196 I bought it used, no warranty I found out later. But it took a charge and works fine. I checked it not too long ago so it wasn't flat for long. The battery is supposedly easy enough to replace and not that expensive. The battery controller shuts it down before it gets too flat. But yeah, make sure to check it now and then.

Great video guys and I always wondered about the coil signals when tapping rocks as some of my fields are very flint rocky, will certainly look into the GB Manual settings. Great Giveaway and I have seen this on my Twitter and Instagram but I am not on Favebook so sadly I cannot enter but good luck to everyone else. One thing with the backphones is it does not work for me since I had my major ear op and I have to rest the back bar towards the top of my head sadly, however during the winter I use my WS5 for much more comfort. One question with the WS4 is why is it when changing coils that the Puck does not pre connect as I always have to go into the settings and change it to the coil that is connected to the control box?

You MUST have the WS4's turned on before changing coils otherwise they simply don't know you've changed however that's also how you split a Deus into two machines, remote to one coil & headphones to another.

Thanks for the video, guys. I love your channel. I’ve had no issues with charging, I could immediately visually see how it seats properly. My only real concern is trying to conserve that battery for days when I won’t have access to a power outlet for days. I get 8 continuous hours, which is awesome!, however idealistically thinking, it would be better to be able to spread that 8 hours out for as long as possible. Thanks for your informative videos! Gary my ws4 head phones are constantly dead I charge them they work I put them in the case and drive around for a few days with them and try to use them and there dead Is it possible the the on button is being turned on while it is bouncing around in the truck ? and if so why did xp have one button to turn on the ws4 and you have to push two buttons to turn off when it should be the other way around ? I enjoy the videos and your sense of humor my dog goes detecting with me also I finally got her to stop digging up my plugs when I'm not looking thanks.
@RegtonDetectors

Hi Michael, It sounds as though your battery is tired, a new battery should sort that, the on/off buttons were done for a reason, turning on is easy with one button but harder to turn off with two simultaneous buttons, why ? it would be very difficult to accidentally turn them off if two need pressing at the same time whereas a single button it could happen.
