I bought the Ovaga kit based on one of your videos and did my very first airbrushing today (of any kind) with it. It worked amazingly well for this noob. Thanks for the vid!

That's great to hear. I always worry about making these types of videos and the product not working as well for someone else as it did for me. Thank you for letting me know. Take care.

AST 59 years old, I just discovered the area of scale modeling and, boy, let me tell you about all the fun that O have had so far in my first year. I have ruined models by not priming the models before painting them, this is how I found your channel and witha

Thanks Paul, I just purchased the HP-CS through your affiliate link. Great information. One note, I've use the Badger 200 single action for years. You can fine adjust the needle position by turning the larger nut on the back. It slowly backs the needle out for a larger spray pattern. It's pretty precise but I suggest the initial blast will spatter on the model. Again, thanks for the information and suggestions.

I was surprised by the Amazon pricing you mentioned for the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS. I had to double check it and it reminded me of why I didn't buy mine from Amazon. It's much higher than other stores. I ordered mine a couple years ago from Dick Blick - the set that comes with an air hose. It's a great airbrush.

It is a great airbrush. I got lucky when I bought mine. I bought it from an estate sale. It was an old farmer who had a lot of tools and farming equipment, so it brought that type of crowd. No body even bid on the airbrushes. I picked up 4 airbrises and a cheap little air compressor for next to nothing....

External mixes have their place. Thick paints, laying down primers on very large scale models or crafting, cosplay and DIY items.

I have Badger 105, Krome, and a H&S 2024 Ultra. All three excellent workhorses. The 105 I use the most and almost indestructable. All Just near $100.00

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the Gaahleri Trigger airbrush.. Like the Swallowtail or the not so fancied up one.

I have a super cheap trigger airbrush that I haven't tried out yet, but I like the idea of the trigger. I bought a cheap one to check out the style because I want one that is made by Iwata. I just checked out the galeria one you mentioned. Its about the same price as the Iwata-Medea NEO TRN 1. So for me I would go with the Iwata.

I just started in model building hobby, tried a Timber**** brand which was inexpensive and worked very well but I had no idea what to compare it with , I still like to use it but after using a NEO I realised I could paint easier with better result , the Gahhleri brand was half the cost of Neo so it wasn't a big jump price wise to get the neo ,I highly recommend newbies to go straight for neo as your first airbrush and learn with a decent tool.

It's amazing what just a little bump up in price can get you a quality airbrush. And it definitely changes your whole airbrushing experience.

That's pretty much all I use it for now. Either that or shooting a single color on a part. Interior green on aircraft.

Gaahleri has some good quality trigger type airbrushes for very reasonable prices. For under $30 you can pretty much expect junk.

I'm going to have to get a Gaahleri and give it a try. I've heard nothing but good things about that brand.
