Years ago, I played with a guy in Arizona we called “Gimme 5 Dave” … He was 80 yo and blind as a bat. He swung VERY easy and always hit it straight. But every shot, he’d ask “Where’d it go”. Our reply was always “150 yards right down the middle, Dave” Always left it short and in front of the green, chip, 2-putt and whenever we asked him “What did you have on that hole?” he’d say, “Gimme a 5” Didn’t matter if it was a par-3 or par-5, nor if he made par or bogie, he always said, “Gimme a 5” 😂 LOL True story ☝🏻You CAN play golf not hitting the ball as far as you can

I just stumbled on your channel and I love the logic you are talking about. I am a beginner golfer and most golf guys online get so technical it is confusing. Ty for keep it simply and easy to understand . I just subscribed and will continue to watch your channel👌👏

Greetings, I see you took the need to practice out of the equation. The thing is you can still hit you reliable club bad too. Out of the 13 clubs I have, except the putter, which happens to be a reliable club if you hit it square on the face, do I take them all with me or....? Practice is the key. Proper swing plain is the key. Enjoying your bag and getting good scores are the key to golf. The feeling you get hitting a drive off the tee with a driver, and hitting the sweet spot, is the joy of golf. I'm Just Saying.

@@fotoconcept practice is a given but a lot of people never want to practice. Every club can have a bad shot but that is golf in general. However if a club has more of a chance to have a bad shot then another club and then it's more unreliable. I think if people actually practice the clubs that are more unreliable to them then that is going to be key but a lot of people just don't want to practice or have the time to practice. But there are many ways to enjoy the game without scoring well as well

So that was that near hole in 1 day. Hey this is funny to me because, I would randomly go golf with my buddy and all he would use was a pitching wedge and putter. He would even use it off the tee. We all thought he was TRIPPING but, he would always beat the rest of us (waaay before I actually tried to golf). I guess that was just his reliable club because he would par dang near every hole. We chalked it up to him just being better, but now I see how it was done. He didn’t have to be better he just had to use his “reliable” wedge.

@@GolfPsychologist in all reality he probably didn’t par every hole but it really seemed like it then, but that was also probably 13 yrs ago. I just remember his swing seemed the exact same every time and he definitely got it in several strokes before me

You are terrible. With wedge it need to be below 8 feet. To be good at golf is that how to play around green. Rough sand elevation undulation in green. Most cant pitch well if green is undulated. Golf management comes from confident in your swing
