There is a different team which does that, they are generally called Sales Dev Reps(SDR) or Business Dev Rep(BDR). There are generally times when the SDRs will me mapped to a Account Executive(AE), he is your sales guy who talks all the commercials, does all the negotiations, customers see him as the sales man, where as the SE or SA is there to get the technical win using all the skills she talked about. Customers will buy because the trust you.
