My toddler absolutely loves the sound of your voice. Every night he asks for the “talking lady” and it puts his active mind right to sleep. I know that children may not have been your target audience but we love your longer audios. We have the 1hr+ ones on rotation. Thank you for this

Oh, that's fantastic to hear, thank you. In fact, I started out by soft-talking my toddler to sleep out of necessity. Will have to plan some more of the hour sleep meditations.

Hi Clare I love this meditation thank you. I’m wondering if you had any advice … as someone who suffers from SEVERE health anxiety and SEVERE chronic illness (I’m completely bedridden for many years💔) I struggle with meditations because nearly all of them focus on your body etc but with having health anxiety I’m constantly focused on my body and every single sensation it’s exhausting. Are there any meditations you could suggest that don’t focus on the body or breath at all ? Thank you 🙏🏻

Thank you for your lovely message. This might seem counterintuitive, but doing some Tai Chi, QiGong or other movement based meditation will help you not to focus on sensations. You can find some seated routines on KZitem. Most mindfulness meditations will include some form of focusing on the breath or sensations, and you're right, they can be overwhelming. A better type might be guided imagery - like this one. But you can fast forward past the body scan and go straight to the visualization. The other idea is simply not doing a formal meditation practice, but using moments. Such as eating with your non-dominant hand so you have to slow down and pay more attention to what you're doing. Opening the window so you can hear some birdsong, opening the curtains early in the morning so you watch the sky changing color as a new day dawns. Using prayer, reciting a mantra, journaling etc. These little moments all add up to calming down your thoughts about your bodily sensations. Hope something here helps ✨
