Loved loved this video 6. We need to stop comparing our calling and purpose to that of other Christian women😂 7. We need to start encouraging other women in their walk of faith. 8. "'Performative Christianity" posting Bible verses and dressing modestly with the wrong heart posture. 😟Doing all the godly things to ''look Godly"' rather than honour God. 9. Being too hard on ourselves💔. Thats the exact reason why we are hard on others love you all!!❣

Hey girlies the 6th one for me was not focusing so much on loneliness and spouse but on what God has ordained us to do. I use to focus on marriage and wanting a spouse so bad due to loneliness that I let it consume my relationship from God. I finally realized what I doing when God revealed myself to me and I felt convicted. I had to learn that God will do all he promised and to just focus on him because with God I would never be lonely.

Number 5, really spoke to me. Especially because I've been feeling like I'm not bringing ALL of me to the table when I pray. Then today, while studying I was so bothered and it just triggered something in me and I broke down crying, and I realised that that was what I was "keeping" from God. It's almost as though I had subconsciously convinced myself that because He had saved me and changed me so much to the point where I don't even recognise me, that He put me in a place where I truly need for NOTHING, because of that I couldn't let myself complain before Him. It was as though I was reprimanding myself for being bothered by such small and trivial things, when He has done so much for me. And it just messed with my prayer life, to the point where I felt so fake whenever I did pray.

I definitely can relate sis. I recently started opening up to God more and asking him for specific things. I used to feel like you weren’t supposed to ask him certain questions or ask him for things but I came across a video that stated “you have not because you ask not”.. we are Gods children and he feels as though we’re worthy. We have to be comfortable talking to our father about anything. So definitely understandable and I’m happy you opened up 💜

Definitely got me in perfection and taking care of our bodies. I have failed to take care of myself because I am in a season of depression (again) and I am exhausted all the time. And just before I watch this video, I told God how I am not good enough for Him. But something you said really got me: that the Lord Himself love the Israelites even when they were stubborn and went back to God. If the Lord loved the Israelites, then I know He will love me. His love is enough for me. I appreciate you making this video and God speaking to me. I knew I was gonna get convicted and I was right. Glory to God.

Love this! All the points were on point but what convicted me was taking care of my body. I know that when I’m healthy and taking care of myself I’m at my best. But when I don’t, I’m sluggish, don’t want to get up early, which impacts my walk with God and the list goes on. It’s a disservice to not do this and also the prayerlessness! I’m always convicted by the scripture “pray without ceasing”. Highlights how much more I need to pray EVERY time. 😳❤

#6 - To expect God to be on our time or we think he’s forgotten about us. I have done this so many times that I’ve found myself giving up, being angry, spending money to talk to “men and women of God” out of a desperate desire to come to better resources and a full life. And then I realize that I take back the problem I submitted to God and try resolve it myself because he is not showing up how I needed him to.

It is soooooo difficult to not stirve for perfection in this world that preaches self-righteousness..., but 😁🙌🏽 glory be to God that Christ is our perfect leader and as God sees us, He sees Christ! Phew! That takes off the weight off me! Hallelujah!! I think the sixth habit should be: to stop idolizing people and/or our desires. We need to stop putting people and/or our desires above God. Hey! These were all great points. The point about checking things off the list and not having a personal relationship with God is critical. It matters to have a personal relationship with God because, at the end of the day, God is the one who knows what is best for us. Also, the point about being judgmental, I really loved that. We need to have more compassion as Christians and not look down on others. To be Christlike is to be loving and forgiving. Rather than throwing stones.

God guided me to watch this video and I think He has led me to comment. I get a bit stuck in loops of condemnation, confusion, leaning on myself rather than God, and things similar to that. Almost like I have trouble trusting that He is enough, beyond just enough. I'm thankful for this conviction, and I've tried to pray about it. At some points I feel weak and weary but I try to remember that God never faints and never grows weary. Please pray for me if you feel God has led you to. I know this is something I truly need to stop doing. But my #6th habit is that I need to stop gossiping, even if it is about little things that may annoy me or a family situation. Instead of going to others about this, I just need to take this situation to God because even though I may be telling people something from my point of view, they could take it and become angry at somebody that they might not even know. Also, another habit that I need to let go is that whenever someone offends me or does something to me, I let the situation hurt me to much, or I just keep thinking about it. I need to learn how to let those situations go and give them to God.

But this is such a beautiful reminder that no matter where we are, God deems is worthy. His voice is not one of comparison and shame- but that of love and honor. He honors our works, our love and sees the posture of our hearts. Big or small, He sees us and loves us.

Matthew 5:48, You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. This, of course, does not mean we should strive to be perfect on our own means, but through our complete reliance and dependence on God to do so. Each day we should strive to be more like Jesus, who was and is perfect. Philippians 1:6, And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Also, towards the second habit, I agree, but we should make sure that we judge others rightly and not hypocritically because if we don't ever correct people for doing their wrongdoings, then how would they come to repentance? Matthew 7:1-5, Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgement, you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log out of own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. John 7:24, Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgement.

Love this!💗 I wanted to add that the Bible does actually state that God want us to be perfect as He is (Matthew 5:48, I’d recommend reading the chapter in it’s entirety and the AMP version for better understanding.) When we were saved and born again we received the Holy Spirit, and were made new and set apart (holy). We will still suffer and face trials on this earth however, us as Son’s of God now have the power to endure and overcome them without sin as Jesus did (Because He is with/in us through it all!❤). And God gives many examples of a perfect character in that chapter. I’d also recommended reading James 1:4 and 1 Peter 5:10 KJV). Be encouraged everyone🤍

I also want to add that being perfect does not mean that you are no longer teachable because you know everything. On this journey you will continue to mature and grow in your faith through trials. However, we can do it purely and without sin just as Christ who now lives within us did. There has to be a greattt difference between us (Son’s of God) and the world (ie: our nature, the way we react, talk, love, etc.). And this is so that we can be the light of the world and He can get all the glory🤍.
