I would guess by the total look of the place that it was the pet project of a Vietnam Vet and perhaps now gone. For sure, there are stories to be told. If Chad could pinpoint where exactly it was, I can try asking some older US Vets about it.

Brave choice on the muffler, cant stand it on long rides. I have an NMax, same engine as the Aerox. The company I work for makes ECUs for NMax but no Aerox model, but maybe you can try the Thai brand, ECU Shop. One or two grams lighter on the rollers and a bigger front pulley would be the max mods I would go for if you dont want to compromise long distance reliability. But I've seen them turbo charged or nos those scooters there for drag races. Anyway, keep them riding videos rollin and safe journey.

@@Mr.clintontoney Hello, for occasion like yours..Hmm. I wish you guys best. If you both vaccinated technically you can go to Phuket in July, but with all this changes better wait to August and check situation there daily. I back from Phuket just 10 days ago and for romantic honeymoon now is best time. Not many tourist around , quiet beaches , nice place to be together. (really magic) But because this virus situation you cant really experience 100% Thai holidays. Its little bit like ghost town, this place loose allot of his vibe. And if this will be your first time with pain in my heart, I will say, try wait next few months. I visit Thailand after 1,5 year separation with my girlfriend, this trip cost me more than double than normal holidays, I spend 2 weeks in locked room for mountain of money and later 5 weeks on empty Phuket. For as that was fantastic beautiful, perfect time together but I miss so much freedom and wild life of Thailand. I wish you guys can go in better time and visit crazy Bangkok, beautiful Chang Mai with surrounding mountains and south with stunning islands in 1 trip. Now is not really possible to see those places in full splendor and glory. But if you want just be together in paradise, go Phuket in August, enjoy half prices on almost everything, have a bitches only for yourself. One more time best wishes.

A thai-dude told me some storys about US soldiers back in the Vietnam-war days and that very place. It has some history to it! There were buildings close by where soldiers used to "have fun" with ladies, but they are demolished since years back. Good vibes seeing that place again. That O-1 Bird Dog was quite a sight. There were over 3,000 of them built by Cessna for the Army and the Marines in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was the first all-metal, fixed-winged aircraft ordered by the Army and were used primarily as an artillery spotter. Nice bit of discovery there, Chad.
