There is a chip being developed right now currently for the next CPUs and gpus, that cools itself by using frequency generator embedded Within, that should move the hot air away from the chip itself, but I'm predicting that your device will still need fans at least for the exhaust and intake of fresh air. That technology is expected to show up within the year.
@5226-p1e

These are all very creative additions to the steam deck, there is a guy who recently figured out how to make a chip for a CPU I believe, that uses a type of frequency in order to make air move, and it should help direct air away from the CPU and then the air can be evacuated out of the machine via fans or some kind of suction system. This guy is technology is expected to ship by the end of this year in all of the new CPUs for this year. They will probably do something similar for the gpus as well.

I reordered mine on the 9th of Jan. Received it last Friday. But my kit came with two white skins for the steam deck. A white grip texture. Back pedal and touch pad carbon fiber skins. And some thumbstick covers. Im not sure why mine came with so much. Especially two of the same skin.

Same here! I appreciated the extra stuff, but I wish they'd come with an explanation. I installed the bandage-looking white grip pads on the inside of my case. Required a bit of trimming, but it makes the fit more snug. I assume that it was designed to go under a skin, like for padding? The extra thumbstick covers were great, because the D-Brand ones I had were too wide and were getting caught on the JSAUX front cover when I pulled it off.

Probably, however do not fret, there's a guy who's been working on creating a chip that moves air by simply using frequency, basically it cools the air because it has the capability to move air away from the chip using frequency generator technology, however I think you still will need exterior fans in order to pull the air out of the device, but this is supposed to revolutionize How We Do CPUs and gpus and the technology is supposed to ship in the new CPUs and gpus within the year. So I would personally say wait for that chip to come out and be embedded into the steam deck before you purchase a steam deck I mean.

@@robtallini1346 The video that I watched with a guy presenting this technology suggested that his tech was going to be implemented into the new CPUs and GPU technology by the end of this year. Which suggests that he already has a contract with these companies and it's going to be implemented into the cards for future cards I mean. It sounds impressive, and I've seen other frequency builds for other particular things, and it is quite promising. There's even a machine that uses two frequency generators to hold an object in place in midair, it's really quite cool but that's another type of tool, this I believe is using the same type of method except it's using frequency to push air away from the card. I don't know if I could find the video that I saw where this was being talked about, but this is just what was stated in the video. I could see something like this being implemented into a lot of different technology, and it would greatly impact the industry of CPUs and GPU technology. I could see it being used in a lot of different projects such things as robotics would improve efficiency of whatever Tech they are running. So it's not just for CPUs and gpus for computer, I could see it being used in a wide range of different electronic products.

In "Bloody Spell" in 1080p I achieved a max temperature reduction up to 17C with the JSAUX cooler. Awesome!
@5226-p1e
Жыл бұрын
That's actually really f****** good, don't know how you achieve that, unless that was only the first few minutes of running that temperature, and you possibly running it on a low intensive game. However recently there was this guy who created a chip that creates its own frequency which can move air away from the chip, and his Technologies expected to show up within CPUs and gpus within the year, but only the new CPUs in gpus. It will essentially replace fans from the inside of the PCs and even devices like the steam deck comma and supposably it'll run more efficiently than a fan because there are no moving parts because it uses a frequency generator to move the air comma you still might need fans on the outside of the machine sucking the air out comma but I wonder if they're eventually going to get one that's just going to use frequency generator technology to move the air out of the machine. But that's probably a next year design feature that will exist.

@@SeraphX2 I assume that the machine would have some kind of automatic shutoff before that kind of situation happens, even if that kickstand was made of plastic. Just like every PC does when it gets too hotand the fan inside your machine can't keep up. But you also have to understand that rises, so it could transfer into that kickstand sure, but he also rises up and you're going to play the machine up right anyway based off of how you play it, the steam deck is obviously an experiment, and this experiment will probably last for many years until it becomes an actual viable productand all the people who have one right now are the testers essentially. but you can say the same thing for almost every other products on the market right now, even things episode of the market work this way.

@FruitySkills

I do agree the Dbrand case felt more premium in terms of how it felt in the hands...but I do still choose Jsaux due to how dedicated the team is with Steam Deck and how many accessories are available already. - Attachment section is in the middle with Jsaux...would make for better weight distribution compared to Dbrand which is higher up...for things like batteries where it can feel off as the attachment section is higher up. - Jsaux has a nice 180 degree USB C adapter that is compatible with their case as well as the travel cover. (No need to remove adapter when putting travel cover which is nice.) It just looks more slick with that adapter as it sits more flush compared to using a 90 degree USB C adapter...and you wont risk damaging USB C port/adapter - Jsaux has a nice USB C hub designed for the case with no built-in cable with plenty of functionality. Imo, while Dbrand felt a bit more premium..Jsaux wins due to how much cool things they do...and they just never stop with Steam Deck accessories. Dbrand is focused on a lot of other things while Jsaux is mainly so far focused on Steam Deck. Plus, since Jsaux attachment section is more flat compared to Dbrand (which sticks out a lot more...and Jsaux doesnt have those sections at the top that stick out like Dbrand) it could be compatible with more accessories found on Etsy/elsewhere designed for standard cases.
