As always an interesting video Tristan. Lots of good things to see in this world and sadly to say most of us miss them. Have you seen the big Crater near Williams, AZ that was hit by a huge Meteorite over two thousand years ago I believe. Very interesting also. I've been on several lava flows, and they're all made up of extremely jagged rock. So my guess is that it's not as smooth as it looks!

Amazing drone footage! I really thought you might fly the drone around inside the crater, but it would probably have been a pain to retrieve had it failed. Thanks for sharing and safe travels!
@SUVRVing
5 жыл бұрын
The problem is that the drone's camera can't look up. It can only pan up to the point where it's parallel with the drone body. It would have been super cool to fly it into the crater and look up, but that's not possible. It would have just looked at the side of the crater. Still could have been interesting, but that's why I didn't do it.

The cinder cone looked like a rough walk. But I did enjoy, and (I hate to say it as I don't like them) but the drone view was magnificent. Is the greenish area a swampy area or just the color of the soil? Btw, really like your music-- all the music. Not at all distracting and adds to your videos.
@SUVRVing

Thanks, I try to use mainly acoustic music that is relatively relaxed. I think it fits in well with the tone of my videos. Which greenish area are you referring to?

Hi, I had a question about the drone sequence on top on the cone. When the drone was above you and circling and you were walking. Do you have to pilot the drone to get those shots or are they sophisticated enough now to program it to fly up and circle you automatically?
@SUVRVing

The latter. It has several flight patterns built in, and you can select one for it to do. The circling part is one of them. Thanks for watching!
