The 3995WX chip arrived in days, but this motherboard took ~7 weeks to arrive (i'm in the UK). I didn't know it came with the M.2 expansion PCIe card, so I was amazed to find this in the box. Linus says it allows 16GB/s data throughput!! The worst thing about this motherboard is the amount of money you will want to spend getting it to max power - it's insane. One tip - don't buy the Dark Rock Pro aircooler, it's not quiet at all on a chip this hot - get a corsair H50i AIO which runs at much slower fan speeds even if the coldplate doesn't cover the entire face of the chip. This board is badass. But make sure you have a case that can fit E-ATX, make sure you have at least 1000W PSU, make sure you will have thousands to spend on the peripherals you'll lust after once you realise the godlike power now in your grasp. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the board I am looking at for my new build in the Spring of 2022. Decided that going to build a system that is going to last me for a long time (in tech terms) instead of a system that neds incremental upgrades every year or so. Combined with a RTX3090, a mid-range Threadripper Pro & 256GB of RAM (along with a full quota of m.2 drives - both on board & the add-in card). Just got to decide on a full tower case which has lots of 3.5"/2.5" drive bays (considering the Phanteks Enthoo Pro II as that seems to be the case which has the best expandability for additional storage). No doubt will run out of PCI-E lanes quickly LOL

This is a very all purpose motherboard for any use. It fits all 'niche' markets. Eight channel ram is twice as fast as quad channel ram and four times faster than dual channel ram no matter what your using the system for. No matter what the task, 7 X16 GEN4 PCIe sockets should handle the job. This board is for everyone!

I LOVE how there's 7x PCIe slots the Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z690 only has 2x PCIe slots, you actually have room for a M.2 expansion card AND one comes with this Motherboard!!..... The only thing I'd change is the RAM, if this used as a workstation there are people in Computational Fluid Dynamics or Flow Simulation who wish to have 512gb of RAM other than that massive computer!!

No response, whatsoever, and they know of this issue. Disgusting. Computer store response: " Confirmed issue with specific GPUs going into low power mode on client's motherboard (Asus WRX80 Sage Se). Mobo has issues with A2000 and A4000 quadro cards. Was able to get it working by covering pin 30 on gpu. "
