Je suis vraiment heureux de constater une telle adaptation après tant de guerres inutiles. Le peuple Vietnamien est beau et semble tellement dynamique. Bravo to Ho Chi Minh pour une aussi belle réalisation. God bless you all dear Vietnamese. Un grand futur vous attend.

Love it! Vietnam is a good example for developing visionary leaders and industrious people. For example, coffee growing was not a traditional agricultural practice nor a traditional dink in Vietnam. However, knowing the benefits of coffee farming, they started working on it and have now become the second largest coffee producers of the world. Where as, Ethiopia as the origin of coffee with ideal climatic conditions is far beyond its capacities. Love Vietnam! ❤

Been living in VN going on 12 years. I love VN one of the best countries to live in there is so much freedom here it's almost unbelievable (makes the U.S. look like a police state). Vietnamese people are the most down to earth people you'll find anywhere. Great country great people great society great culture

Very impressive. I was born in 1966, when the Vietnam War was going on, and was only 9 during the fall of Saigon. Now, 49 years later, Vietnam looks like a nation on the move. I have a dear friend from Vietnam and she invited me to her wedding. The groom dressed as a dragon at the wedding while the bride danced. Good for Vietnam.

All very interesting & your commentary is very good explaining everything. Your quite the tour guide. Having watched a few of your videos one common theme is you talk about the woman alot how beautiful they are their unique character traits & how much they want foreign men . Well I would like to believe you but I just don't know. I will go to Vietnam next year & also planning to visit Latvia & Lithuania which you have talked about also. Your videos suggest it is relatively easy to meet woman in this countries but I have my doubts. Will know soon enough I guess. Plan to spend 3 or 4 days in each country. Finally I noticed you uploaded a video of Russia I carnt watch this not after everything has has happened involving RussIA. I suppose going to the countries I have already mentioned would be like going to Russia anyway as we're once part of the soviet union. Thanks

I grew up in South America, where neither there is a minimum age to purchase alcohol: By age 8, my mother used to send me to the nearest store to buy wine. Also, my daughter was 13 when she stayed in Bavaria, Germany with a family, friends with me. There was a girl her age whose birthday party was . . .a vodka party!

i disagree about the Vietnam war was the fault of USA and Nixon but clearly somebody had to start a war against drugs in the golden triangle. so if anyone has doubts, ask why we southeast Asian countries are much safer nowadays . not fully but soon very. anyway there are prostitution in western countries but due politics and certain organizations was the cause of the legalization of the sex industry there. goodbye.
Obviously the war in Vietnam was a historical terrible humanitarian catastrophe but we must not forget that the communist has made a terrible footprint that is still visible in countries such Cuba and North Korea . If Vietnam became today a prolific peaceful country , it is due to a political openness of their communist leaders to western capital investment that poured in to create jobs ,,,,unfortunately at the expense of western man power . One example of this is the closing of multiple western textile factories that moved to Asian countries. A friend of mine that used to employed 3000 workers making jeans pantalons moved all his operations in Vietnam cheap labor supported by Canadian Free Trade regulations.

Vietnam is greatly desirous of putting the past behind them and align themselves with the U.S. and U.S. oriented technologies. Case in point is Nvidia’s CEO visit to VN and discussion about building an AI supercomputer in VN. Let’s look to the future that we can build together rather than the past.

10:55 Catholicism being the legacy of the French occupation is pure YT BS! LOL 😂😂 Truth be told the French colonized Vietnam for about 60 years. But the legacy of Christianity, inclusive the alphabet used today in Vietnam. Was left by the Portuguese starting about 500 years ago! That's half a millennium for the more distracted. That should give some "historical" perspective of a real timeline! As usual YT "story tellers" tend to forget that ALL the major maritime empires like the British, Dutch and French empires. Were definitely built over Portuguese sweat! Similar influences can be seen not only in Vietnam but also in Korea, Macau-China, Japan or Formosa (Taiwan). The Americans put troops in the Chinese island of Formosa and surrounding islands. That curiously to this day carry names like "Pescadores islands"/ Penghu island. Pescadores is the Portuguese word for fishermen. In fact Formosa is an elegant Portuguese word that mean "beautiful"! 🙂 There's a reason Macau was an important Portuguese commerce location for little more than 500 years. For context the neighboring Hong Kong, at walking distance from Macau. Was under the British empire for 150 years... A small difference! ;-)
