Exactly right, China is not only big in size but it is 5000 years old civilization that still exist in the 21st century. The 1.4 billion people are United in one empire and everything is managed and taken care of to make the lives of all these people comfortable and happy. The PRC has done a very good job in managing the gigantic empire as it is growing rapidly in excellence.

I totally agree with what you said. Joe Biden should have been aware of that, he didn’t really need to quadruple up the tax rate on the Chinese EV cars. Like what you said the Chinese EV market is already big enough here in China. At the same time they still have many other market options across the globe. Most of the Chinese EV car companies do not intend to sell their products to America! As long as they control the number of EV products well and not over production, I think they still survive and grow steadily even without the US market. Let’s see who is suffering most this time!

I visited not long ago a city of 14 million people in southern China named Guangzhou. One thing that surprised me was how clean the air was and how low the traffic noise was. The reason probably was due to the high number of EVs in use. Of course the metro rail system in Guangzhou was huge too. I even had the chance of experiencing a driverless electric bus which was under road trial. It was fantastic. I would urge people to visit China and experience life there. There were things I didn't approve, but I'll leave that till a later comment.

Hi Lizzy, what's really scary is the Internet in China. There are over 1 billion Chinese who surf the Net. Can you imagine the size of the network infrastructure that's required to support that? It totally dwarfs any Chinese city. A lot of people think that the Great Firewall is used to keep Chinese inside the country. Not so, it now keeps the Western Internet safe. Can you imagine just 100 million people all try to get on Facebook at the same time?

I hope all countries like chinese govment spend money on infrastructure and the well-being of their people, not on resource wars, just like what the US has done.

Check out videos about the anti dessert projects of the northern China. A really good example to exemply the fighting spirit as part of Chinese culture. We're taught by ancient stories the real "just do it" attitude, for everyone to join in and fight against the hostility of the nature, to make life better for everyone for generations to come. That's the long term view in the planning that we should have, as well as the long term view in the anticipation of difficulties that we may face, and the preparedness in mindset during the execution of the plan not to give up if the direction is correct.
Whether you are a fan of the Chinese government or not you have to admit they had done amazingly to take the country being third world to an advanced and modern society in 30+ years. Just the population of one china’s cities is the entire population of some nations. You always hear talk that china is on the decline but these people have never been to china or basing their opinion from when they visited china in the early 90s and 00s.

China will settle the outer space really and will build the first big space stations with rotation sectors. (For 1- 10 million people). Maglev in vacuum and cargocap systems too. Flying cars which can land at anchor airplanes for travelling further into space, until anchor space ships and space cities.

The only one reason why China's public transport systems are so cheap is because they, like many other public services, are state owned and the government runs them fairly well. This is one fundamental character that distinguishes China from the rest of the world and shapes a lot of what China it is today. In a nut shell, "privatization" is still considered a very wrong approach to a good society by most people and top policy makers alike. Of course, thanks to China’s economy boom, huge investments allowed public infrastructures to be built to the highest standards possible. It is funny in China, Sate Owned Enterprises are often named as companies but works more like charities. E.g. a good gas company is a gas company that does not make money.
