Can't believe the price for a night $ 93 unpowered crazy rep off, that's a weeks food supply, just can't afford caravan parks anyone 😢 but your video is great guy's thanks 😊

Hi Daniel, 10 out of 10 for sound on this episode. No problems with Amanda's quiet section in the car at night. Great video as usual. BTW I suffer from Arthritis with inflamed joints. I take Celebrex. It needs to be taken with food. It's so much more effective than Ibuprofen / Paracetamol mixtures. Do some research and consult your GP to see if that is an option for you and Amanda. (Your friendly Dr Quack. 😃)

Thanks David! yippee 😁 glad to hear of another successful volume comment, sounds like we are getting somewhere after 2.5 yrs of 🤣 & yes Celebrex, was on that after ankle surgery but had side effects so had to get off it, haven't tried it again though, may need to look into it.

@@OverlandExposure Hi Daniel, when I started Celebrex I was on the 200mg capsules. They no longer prescribe 200mg, they now prescribe 100mg max. Taking the 100mg lower dose hopefully will avoid the side affect you suffered previously.

A question. How long ago did you do Cradle Mountain? Was the van overnight parking down the road or outside the Cradle Mountain Visitors Centre? We are going next month with our Van. My God, we wont be paying $93. Couldnt hear you very well in your vehicle. We never drive at night- Not safe with the fear of hitting a critter. We wont be able to go into the boundary of Cradle Mountain park as we have a dog.

We did Cradle in March and no, we refuse to pay $93/night too. Ah, sorry about that with the driving in the truck, not sure why it was so different to the other talking parts,, I was just saying that I went out driving at 10kms an hour for about a 15minute drive looking for Tassie devils in the wild. We rarely drive at night too.

Sorry to ask again. Was the overnight van parking you did, down the road from Visitors Centre? Is the dump point at where you parked?

Don't be sorry, yes, where the massive car parking is at the Info Centre, there is a dedicated area for long vehicles (it's a gravel area with no marked bays). As you enter the car park, keep going straight and you'll see a sign and other large vehicles. 😁

what about Lake Gairdner Free Camping Area would it be an option
@OverlandExposure
11 ай бұрын
We did mention it as an option, but it's still 40mins drive away and for us driving at night that far for our photography is unsafe. If you don't mind the 40minute drive and don't plan driving at night then Lake Gairdner is a good free option. It's actually where we go in next, so will be in week's episode 😁

Hi I’m planning to visit Launceston in 1st November for 4 days. Solo traveller with a sedan car. What do you think ideal itinerary would be ?
@OverlandExposure

That depends, are you camping or have accommodation booked in Launceston for the 4 nights or can book in different locations?

Yes, we believe they would be as it is not National Park.
