Welcome back to Trinity Dairy! The kids have been working really hard cleaning in the barn, and they've been filling our Minnesota Manure Spreader until it was full. It was up to Justin, with Dad's supervision, to take the 9N Ford Tractor and spread the manure. This is his first time spreading manure. He spread it onto a field that we already cut for hay, but could use a nutrient boost from the manure. After that, Alan was heading to some more of our rented ground to make some of the last first crop hay. The field did not disappoint! With all the rain we received this Spring, the field was thick. It might not be the best quality forage for Dairy cows, but it will be perfect for dry cows or heifers. The John Deere 820 Tractor was really put to work in this field with the task of cutting with the 489 Haybine, Tedding with the Vermeer Hay Tedder, and raking with the V-Rake. After that, the International 1256 tractor rolled up the hay with the New Holland Round Baler.

Trinity Dairy was established in 2006, in Minnesota. Alan and Jennifer farm with their 5 children; Jessica, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, and Jason. We milk a mix of 33 Jersey, Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Ayrshire cattle. We also enjoy sharing our family's love of Draft Horses and using them for logging and other farm work. Dairy Farming in Minnesota can be challenging, but it's a lifestyle we really enjoy. Subscribe today to watch our small family dairy farm and family grow while continuing to thank our Lord for the blessings we've been given.
