I can testify, this does work in Georgia!! We are in our second full year rotating at least daily and it is doing wonders for our farm and cattle! Just keep your cattle moving, it starts there and everything else will start falling it to place! Pay attention to what the soil and animals tell you, then adapt and plan accordingly!

Greg, I was driving through northern Georgia yesterday and I saw some cattle. They were dining on grass that looked like a putting green. Going by at 55 mph I could count the the ribs on those cows. They looked hungry to my untrained eye.

Thanks for the video! This will be a great for someone who loves to farm but can’t start up their own farm. Theirs so much opportunity out there for everyone just have to look in the right direction. Another great interview! There’s no place like seeing Greg and Jan’s and the wonderful crew that works with them.

My takeaway from Greg, Joel, and my own Goa, GGPa is to work with nature, focus on improving the soil, then everything between the soil and the sky benefits.

In order to fully realize the benifits of regenerative ranching, you have to let go of the notion of you as a rancher, who raises cattle on pasture. What you have to essentially become, instead, is a land steward who is managing a woodland grassland ecosystem for the benifit of hundreds of animals and plants working together, paying close attention to natural systems . THAT is how you succed in ranching.

FYI, tuck your pants' legs into your socks, and you will have fewer ticks climbing up under your clothing!

Visiting Greg's ranch is "Cow Therapy" according to Jessica C. and it looks like Daniel Barnard would agree?

Just a note for Daniel Barnard. I was on one of the Carbon Cowboys short videos and reading the comments someone around 30yrs old was interested in learning this trade. I posted your contact information on his comment hopefully he will contact you?

Greg, have you ever had to deal with a stampede with your cattle? I was wondering if a big clap of thunder would startle the animals into a stampede right through the fence.

No, our cattle don’t stampede through hot fences. They respect 8000 volts!

Iron City........which is not a city, maybe a town, but better described as a community. Not far from Will Harris' White Oak Pastures.

Hey everybody, I am looking for an AMP grazing mentor and someone who focuses on regenerative agriculture practices. I live in Colorado Springs and am looking for something in El Paso County, CO. I am an aspiring grazier and will have hooves in the ground one day. I am looking to lease land in the next few years, but I would love to work for knowledge prior to starting my own venture. If anyone knows any leads, I'd greatly appreciate it.
