As a kid I recall he also produced and played on Aretha Franklin's Jump To It album. So, he did a lot of amazing stuff at a very young age.

@@clifking I was hearing it for the first time in the 80s. Changed my ear and my approach to bass. Others play the some of the same notes and licks, but none sound exactly like Marcus. There's only one. (just like there's only one of anybody 😁)

A lotta young “virtuosos” now. And they’re “hot” because KZitem allows them instant access to any and every technique you any to learn. But before KZitem Marcus miller, jaco, Stanley clark, jameron, Louis Johnson, paved these roads that these new hipsters now glide down on their skateboards.
