I grew up without a dad, moms was a drug addict. I ended up involved in gang life until I was almost killed at 19 yrs old. I decided to change my life around, I realized the "father figures" I looked up to didn't give a damn about me. I left gang life, got a real job, and started improving my life. It took good role models and almost dying to make the change. Now, I'm doing a lot better than I was. But, I notice a lot of young men are unfortunately growing up under the same circumstances as I did. We need a societal change. This new wave of feminism/woke is destroying the nuclear family. It's certainly not improving the black communities. More and more children will have to grow up like I did. And I wouldn't even wish that on my worst enemy. We need to stop glorifying gang banging and drug dealing. Stop looking up to celebrities who don't give a damn about us. As men, we need to set the example for the younger generation and make positive changes to our own lives.

First, let me just say that is one of the best comments we have ever received. I commend you for telling us your story and displaying how hard work and determination can change your life for the better. When we started this channel, conversations like this one were our intent. We want MEN old or young to form of community of support for each other. Most young men want to elevate in life but don’t have any guidance or direction to point to the right place. We agree with your assessment. There needs to be a complete societal shift to combat the staggering numbers of men’s mental health and prosperity. It all starts with people like us to start the conversation and continue to gain momentum as time goes on. We deeply appreciate your point of view and hope our content will help you continue your journey of success in life. Wish you all the best!

Absolutely! I wonder why martial arts isn’t being promoted like it used to. Boxing is still prominent but there’s so many other avenues you can venture off to

Meh, it's just one step. You still need conscious work, there is no magic method

@@markpozsar5785true there’s no magic method. However, martial arts (similar to sports) does a lot for people in general. Discipline, exercise, self defense, hard work, mental health, and friendship to name a few.
