Love the way the sun hits the leaves and the window in the background, and the clear blue sky. The tune matches all of it, really nice to have watched this on a Sunday afternoon

Never forget. Bout 20 years ago, driving in the summer thru back roads central oregon. Up on a hillside, in front of a cabin, a young gal brushing her hair. On an overstuffed couch.

I wasn't familiar with this one. It sounds wonderful. Maybe you can make a video with the ensemble. That would be great. Dr. Phoebe, I will take a dose of banjo whenever you are ready to administer. Speaking as someone who knows what it feels like to burn out, I would not want that for you. Love you lots, Doc! ❤❤❤❤❤ A heart for each string. Be blessed to continue to be the blessing you are!

This is a friendly reminder that, just like with "Daily Dose of Internet", You don't have to post every day to have a "Daily" branding make sense. In other words, a "daily dose" could just mean "the dose for that day". (You could take a multi-month hiatus and still keep the branding this way.) I know you know this already, yet I'm reminding because I enjoy these vids, So I'd like to see more of your creativity, even if releases are less frequent. 🙂

We will be here when you post. Take your time. As for learning a new song, perhaps you could take us along on your journey. A vid on how you select a tune and get started. Then follow up vids as you progress - 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, etc.

I learned to play guitar way back around 1974 when Dillon was becoming popular, but never knew this tune, but it didn’t “ring a bell” haha. I really love it now, thanks to you, Phoebe ❤

Thanks for continuing to share your skills and passion with us. It’s always a bright part of the day listening to what you’ve been practicing.

I’m curious, did you learn banjo as your first instrument or after learning other instruments? I play several instruments and have since I was very young and thought about learning the banjo and wondered if it was more difficult or that much different than say a guitar or another stringed instrument? Thank you for sharing this lovely music, definitely needed it today.

🙉 Don't listen to THAT doctor. He just doesn't like banjo. " they are out there." 😁 Also, don't ALL banjo players have their couch in the front yard? Be yourself, keep listening to new songs - & learn. 🩷
