I would be careful about going out one on one for lunch, there was someone who did this to me and I thought they were genuine, but then they went to colleagues with made up gossip of things I "told her at lunch" and the entire office started getting really weird to me. Luckily someone told me what was going on and I could untangle the damage. After, I only went to work lunches in groups. I am happily freelancing now

Once again, Heidi . . . you provide excellent information! Networking is so critical and you provide great tips! What I love is how accessible every single one of your tips is for anyone and everyone. Sometimes just good manners at work and saying "Thank you" can mean a lot. How easy is that to do? Pretty easy.

Hi Sew Heidi, Thank you very much for this video! You are soooooo right about "thank you"! I am Russian and when I started to communicate with people from. EU and USA I was literally SHOCKED HOW MANY people don't say "thank you"! People, come on, it's f*g rude ! Always say thank you to others or you will look like an arrogant snob! If people didn't say me thank you once, I never support them and never like their publications. People who think that are too good and brilliant to say thank you, should be kicked out of industry and stay unemployed. My position.

Thank you for this awesome comment! It’s sad how many people don’t do this - maybe it’s a cultural thing? Either way, it makes a huge difference - clearly you already know that 😝
