Mark, God IS with you. He has promised that and it does not depend on our worth as none are worthy. "Feelings" are not truth so just as you " feel" God is nit with you does not negate what He has told us. " Be still and know that I am God. Also be gentle with yourself, God has already declared you worthy and so don't compare yourself to others. We are all fallen in God's sight but he still loves each of us.

@@maryl8753 if God is with me, I would know that in my heart. Yet, my very simple prayer, which is in His will, has not been granted to me. As your protection from vanity, I would recommend that you consider your work with ascension as your time of visiting the orphan. The one who does not have and adequate or perhaps no spiritual father or mother in their community who gives them access to understanding the grace of God and passion of the Christ. I don't know I'm getting such weird vibes from the panel like a call for help for counseling but their function is to visit the spiritual orphan who has no one in arm's reach and instead go online, or ones who have reached full maturity in their area and need a deeper understanding. ❤ I feel so uncomfortable

Question Jack- Since the original copies of the manuscripts of the Christian scriptures have not been around for many centuries, are the works of all the people from the early church where they preserved the writings by hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press and the reformation considered “good works”, worthy of salvation for Protestants, or just “filthy rags”? Which has never been a sacramental work in the Catholic church but this question for the Protestant would seem most important today if the Bible would have never been copied and those works would have actually been “unrighteous”. Sooooo…. Peace!!!

@@srich7503 You err not knowing the Holy Scriptures. It's not man or the RCC that preserves the Word of GOD. It is GOD Himself that does so. Psalm 12:6 KJV "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." He did in the Textus Receptus (received text) from which GOD's preserved Word in English is the KJV. I'm glad you mentioned the printing press which GOD furnished to man just before the Reformation in which GOD's Word was translated and published and soon broke the vicious hold of the RCC on the people in order for all to know the Holy Scriptures. A true work of GOD. Oh, how that angered the harlot church who burned many of the reformers, who translated the Holy Scriptures, at the stake. Now, who would do that? God or the devil?

@@jacktracy8356 so if i asked you who wrote the book of Romans you would NEVER have said “Paul”? Really? History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine, and then with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?

@@srich7503 The true church does always exist. The true church are true believers inhabited by GOD Himself by His Holy Spirit making the true Christian's body His temple. The church is spiritual not a palace with stained glass windows and painted ceiling in Rome. As a real Christian, I am forgiven of all sins by GOD's grace through faith in the real sacrifice of Christ shedding His real blood and giving His real body on an actual real cross once for all. No popes or priests or RCC involved. Also, as a real Christian, I myself with every true believer are the church and a king and a priest in that true church which is spiritual and eternal. Note: 1 Peter 2:3 KJV "If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious (forgiven of all sins). 4 To Whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 You also, as lively stones (Petras), are built up a spiritual house (Petros/the true church), a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices (fruit of the spirit, obedience, thanksgiving), acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." Description of true believers: 9 "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him Who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" Also: Each person that wrote the Holy Scriptures was inspired by GOD meaning it was GOD writing them. 2 Timothy 3:14 KJV "But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."
