I’ve been working my way through Justin’s back catalogue of videos and I can honestly say, he’s been a god send. It’s been quite therapeutic for me, really. I’ve been struggling really badly with severe anxiety and depression for at least two years, which has lead to me turning to unhealthy coping mechanisms, which hasn’t been great. Hearing him talk about various issues and stuff has really helped me gain some clarity on things. Not to mention him being really f**king funny… his voice is also strangely calming. If I’m feeling anxious then I watch one of his videos and it helps. He’s cheered me up no end over the past few weeks and you can tell he’s just doing it because he loves it and he loves music… he wants to make people smile, that’s all and people shouldn’t be so negative about that. I hope he keeps going this forever and all the haters can f**k off. 😂 no one is forcing you to watch.

I didn't like The Darkness when they were blowing up because I was into punk way too much. But then as a adult I listened to Permission To Land and god that album is amazing back to front. And then I saw you guys at download and my word were you great live. Keep up the great work Justin.

I really liked you breaking down that person's comment that was trying to attack you with grammar and knowing what words mean. That's a classic when going up against a keyboard warrior who'd never say it to your face but only on the internet.

Hey Justin! I’m sure I speak for many subscribers to your channel (both newbies and The Darkness fans alike) when I say that you feel in many ways like a ‘kindred spirit’. And that’s why we love you! 😅👍

The most helpful thing I can say. Growing up listening to classic rock and metal hand me downs from my Dads record collection, and then liking metal and alternative bands in the 80’s and 90’s. Everyone starts to sound a bit the same in every genre because certain sounds end up equaling record sales. It’s why bands seek out producers and why record labels seek out bands that’s sound the same or similar to popular bands. I’ll tell you straight up, when permission to land came out I instantly gravitated to something different that was also musically wonderful. Glam, powerful, showmanship, fun songs, and nothing like the other 15 bands that sounded like Creed at the time. I applaud people that do different things.
