I've been a fairly pedantic English teacher in a past life, but when we were recently collecting our overseas' trip luggage from an Auckland airport carousel, a gorgeous airport guy approached us with, "Can I help yous guys with your luggage?" I breathed out in restfulness and thought, what a wonderful kiwi welcome home!

Loving it!! Pet hate = "arkse".... gggrrrrrrrr. When my son was little all his friends as school used to say ARKSE. The only way I found to successfully teach him to pronounce it properly was to tell him to say "arse - K". He thought it was hilarious as he got to "swear"... to this day, he is still one of few kids his age that pronounce it correctly (he's 15!) 😅😄

It’s not in my dictionary but nouns that just have an “s” added to become plural aren’t acknowledged in that way in my dictionary. (I appreciate “you” is a pronoun rather than a simple noun.) I’d be interested to know if anyone can find “yous” in a dictionary.
