Great video. Lot's of fun taking a tour of your studio. I'm a bass player since I'm 13. My dad bought me a Fender Precision (Pre-CBS) natural wood of which I swapped the pickups for a set of Dimarzio's. Best bass ever...and it got stolen during a burglary. Never saw it again. So it was fun watching you show off your guitars. I later went with an Ibanez SK500(?). It was a fun bass, but didn't come close to my Fender Precision. Also had a Kustom II 80W bass amp which was the bomb. Ah... those were the days. Thanks! 😊👍🏼✨

First off Tom, I'm glad YT suggested your channel. I'm in the midst of starting a video podcast for my channel and another I help manage and everything I need to know from mics to streaming gear is all here! Not to mention your production quality and value. You are also very "punny" hahaha! I've been binge watching all your content these last few days. Really love your studio as we share similar interests. I'm also a musician, as music is my first love and coincidentally I have a Mapex kit too, it's an older early 2000 Mapex Saturn maple/walnut shells. I did have an Armory as well for a short time but ended up selling it as I didn't need another full sized kit. I also have a Ludwig Break Beats kit that I use mainly now for practice and gigs. Appreciate the tour! A lot of the gear you have is what I'm working my way towards but very happy with what I have at the moment. Keep up the great content! I'm very surprised that you are not at least at 100K but I know you'll get there is no time. I can see this channel blowing up even more!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you found me! I love the Mapex kit- mine is from 2015 and has been fantastic. I'd wanted to learn the drums from the time I was 10, but I had to wait until I had a house to get a kit. Was finally able to do it just before my 30th birthday 👍

Hey Tom! So cool to see your studio tour. Looks awesome! I followed the links to the Camera Conundrum and listened to both parts…all the way through! It was like a therapy session, cause I’ve been on that same GAS journey with the pull of the FX3, in particular, for the last year and more, but I ultimately had the pressure completely relieved by the release of the R5C. I decided to stay in the Canon ecosystem for the glass I already own and (ironically) for the screen quality and comfort (16:9, ability to scrub through footage, change iso and f-stop on that lovely sliding interface etc). Those little things matter when all else is equal! BTW On your podcast, you kept talking about those who were “watching the podcast” and I haven’t been able to figure out where I could find that video! Can you point me to the video platform for the podcast and of course….what do you think of the R5C? 😊

I don't do it for every episode, just ones where there's something visual that I think would be neat to see.
