Happy New Year, folks! And time for the first Little d of the year, the finer details of YTP's that you may have missed! Remember to turn on Closed Captions and try to catch 'em for yourself first. Firstoff, the "Amateur vs. Professional" harpsichord riffs are actually consistent throughout the entire video, you'll probably notice mostly at the end. 1:21 I thought there would be a "Little d" here, but nope. The funniest part to me is he says to start at 3, but then he ends at 54 (which is 1) and claims that we're somehow back where we started from. NUMBERS _NUMBERS_ *_NUMBERS_* 3:16 "Let's not talk about poker." *several seconds of silence* "Okay, we'll talk." Also make sure the captions are on for that entire section. 3:51 These cards are by Sea King, possibly a reference to the DurhamrockerZ YTP, "Hank of the Hill" where the Pokemon gets brought up a few times. 6:58 "Chippities Nuts - I mean Chips". Not only is this a "Deez Nuts" joke, but also a possible reference to the Geibuchan YTP "Ddede Invisible Touch'es Dr robit innapropriately because toNIGHT TONIGHT TONIIIGHT OHOOO" , which has a scene where King Dedede and Escargoon argue over whether the king is eating chips or nuts. 7:12 Yurf is a recurring character in Dathings YTP's, first referenced in "The Bat is In a Sack". It looks like they got some purple lipstick now, rock on. Looks like that's it for this one! Again, Happy New Year to all y'all, and I'm ready for another great year of DaThings content!
@DaThings
Жыл бұрын
Couple minor corrections: - the Sea King card deck is made by Bicycle. Great deck, highly recommend. And yes I did buy it because of the name and the Hank of the Hill connection :) - Yurf has always had purple lipstick, it's just usually hard to see unless you zoom in. I always look forward to these in the comments lol, keep up the great work 💜

I was dying of laughter, good work DaThings: You might go to the casino with a partner, and you're in the poker room when they walk up to your game and you say "I am the Joker, baby." And they say "you really want to bet? Prove it." And you're gonna notice the middle finger in the air. By the way, don't look as though you're angry, but remember to push back. You have to stand up for yourself. And as you're pointing a gun, and you say "now watch it, Slick, I'm never giving up" and they say "relax" and you say "no," and you pick them up and simply give them a push by throwing, uh, the other person down across the side of the table, and hold them there. If you apply too much pressure, the table smashes the sucker, and you'll notice the head pop, pop open like that; breaks the skull. If you don't apply much pressure, you uh, die, you would be dead. Rip. You really can't do that. You have to get used to open combat in a casino.

"the game of Twenty-Two, which is a real popular game right now" Fun fact! When I was in the math olympiad, we used to actually play _Twenty-Four!_ This might seem like a bit, but it is an actual game; you set four cards on the table (Ace is 1, Joker, Queen and King are 11, 12 and 13), and using basic operations (sum, subtraction, multiplication and division) you try to make the cards add up to 24. Depending on the sort of rules you're using, either the first person to solve it gets the cards (and the person with most cards wins) or the _last_ person to solve it gets them (the person with the most cards loses). It's pretty fun!
