When I was a 10 year old boy, I heard "Lady D'arbandville" on the radio... and I fell in love with you! I ran to the record store to get your album Mona Bone Jakon. OMG what a dream to play it on my crappy turntable. Now I have a fantastic stereo and WOW that voice of yours, that sound... ! Boy did I have good taste for a 10 year old. Thank you for the music and a lifetime of full of Love and fantastic Music. I love you. Charles in Los Angeles

My mum bought me the soundtrack from my favourite TV programme Heartbeat back in the 90's. Cat was my favourite with "How can I tell you". This song is a thing of beauty.

Hello, Old Friend ❤ I don't think our Entertainers realize how deep in us they live. I'm 64 and if I close my eyes I'm 16 listening to this on the radio of my 1st car, as we head to the beach...so much love to you! ❤❤❤ I had the"Tea for the tiller man" album too! These days, I have a YT channel dedicated to proving we don't die. And the miracle of technology helps me prove it!

I’ve been listening to you since I was a little kid (I’m 55 now) and you are still my all-time favourite singer. I chose your Greatest Hits as my birthing music for my first child and she was born at 6.43am as the sun rose over the coast outside the window just as “Morning has broken” came on. It was the most perfect song for the moment. My favourite movie ever is “Harold & Maude” and I’ve been telling my family for years that the song I want played at my funeral is “Miles from Nowhere”. Thank you for the music that has truly shaped my life in such a huge way. 🙏❤

Just saw the movie, "Are you there God? It's me Margaret". Awesome movie about a 6th grader in 1971. I was in 5th grade in 1971. I grew up listening to Cat Stevens, so many memories. At the end of the movie, they play "The Wind", during the final credits. What a beautiful song! One of the greatest, most talented singer/songwriters of all time!

I was 15 the first time I heard your music (I just turned 50) and it was Harold and Maude that exposed me to the music. An absolutely beautiful film, but the music captivated me… I wish I had the words to tell you how your music changed me. I was instantly hooked. I was so angry at that age and I’m sure a lot of it was teen angst, but anger none the less. Your music brought me a peace that I never had. Thank you for sharing your soul and know that your music altered the course of one young man’s life.
