When I first went to work in an MVS shop way back when, I was amazed at the quality of the tools but also that of the assembly language. Instructions like TRT just blew my mind.

Nice video, one request though, it would be nice if you could use a larger font. Its ok when I am on the computer, but if I am sitting on the couch watching the TV, or watching the iPad in the bath the text is too small to read.

Hello, Mr. Moshix. I totally and completely love your channel and became a paid subscriptor. In one of your early videos, yosay you deleted a few of the first ones because they showed your ip. My question is: Could you rerecord those videos, covering the subjects of those former videos? Thanks.

Speaking of VI type editors, the original TSO editor was just a line editor similar to VI. There was a third party who marketed a full screen editor which was wonderful and then of course came ISPF.

Indeed. And it’s still there

About the beginning of the video: I used a TRS80 with almost the same presentation! And microprocessor machine instructions coded and save in a K7 tape, and Basic language also! Then I passed to an Oric1, the same idea, with Basic but with different machine instructions, here for a Rockwell 6502!

Very nice work! One additional tip - if you have to deal with a few different host/userid/password combos, and don't want to type it in everytime (whether for convenience or to avoid shoulder surfers), it may be beneficial to set up a ~/.netrc file for ftp autologin, however, all security caveats of storing the unencrypted credentials in plaintext apply.

Excellent workflow. Nice touch to add the highlighting too. Far less headache inducing than installing Zowe as well, lol! Great job.

I agree when you are talking about Zowe, Vs code, sometimes too many dependencies!
