It looks like they're using Italian hand gestures. The shaking thumbs up sign the guy made means "OK" and the girl pressing her index finger to her cheek means "delicious" in Italy.

welcome to the restaurant, I want this pasta please, and then when the battery goes out she turns to the girl and says, how cute her earrings are, and the others notice also and chip in with "sou desu ne"s and such, complimenting too then with the pretty chef he asks, if it tastes good, oishii desu ka, and she says it tastes REALLY good, totemo oishii, and then her dream clips out, the waitress gives her the food, repeating what it is called, she notices the real chef and he he is gesturing to the food she gestures that she likes it, then images herself getting up confidently saying, I really love your food, but then in the real world she gets up and rather skittishly walks over, Sorry if I misunderstood I only made it threw Japanese 2 in my school and I haven't been too good at memorizing things so this is what I could get.

@theonewhocomments

Aimixx2 Also I think when she compliments the girl she says she made the earrings herself and the guys say that it's awesome. Then the main girl asks her if she makes accessories and she takes out a box of her creations.
It's pretty easy to follow even without the language, but for the extra tidbit of info if you don't understand Japanese, the most relevant thing is that she imagines that she tells the girl next to her that her earrings are super cute and that the girl says she makes them herself, then everyone's like "wow really?" and she pulls out other jewelry she makes and they have a party etc. Then she imagines she has the courage to tell the guy the food he made was delicious. At the end she finally gets up and acts on her fantasies, interacting with real people instead of secluding herself and keeping her nose stuck in her phone. Good message, great video, and nice soft animation! Lovely. :)

I work at a restaurant so this really speaks volumes to me. The message is really loud and clear for me. More and more people look at their phone while not talking to their friends/family/significant other while waiting for their food or eating. It's really sad to see how technology has controlled our way of socializing. All I'm saying is for people to be aware of their surroundings and talk to whoever they are with instead of being on their phone once in a while.

Yeah, smartphones are a new thing, does no one remember before they existed? People still kept to themselves, read the newspaper or whatever. If you were in a doctors office or something it wasn't a social club, people just sat there quietly.
It's ironic the fact that most of us are using our cellphones to watch it, and the main point it's to stop using it and start to coexist.
@ipercalisse579

I know how you feel. I have Asperger syndrome, and this makes my contact with others people really hard. Sometimes I feel panicked just with a idea of talking in my cellphone, say "sorry" or just hugs my on mother. It's really hard, I know, but you can't let it control you. No need try do everything already. Give you your on time, but no stop trying overcome it. Step by step is important.

It's really frustrating when you're half Japanese and understand what they're saying, but can't read most of it and reply to some of the lovely comments/creator. Really nice job and wonderful colour scheme. The theme was also well thought out!
