"Up There" Is A Song Featured In The Film, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Released In 1999), Which Is Sung When Satan Wishes He Could Go Up To Earth.
It Is Among The More Dramatic And Sorrowful Songs Of The Film. While Most Of The Songs Are Upbeat And Comical, This Song Contains Sad, Dramatic Lyrics And A Slow Sad Tune. It Also Focuses On The Inner Struggle Of A Main Character, As Opposed To The Other Songs, Which Usually Focus On A Character's Personal Prejudices. It Is, Ironically, Sung By Satan.
The Song Is Later Reprised During The "La Resistance" Medley.
Produced On A $21 Million Budget, It Grossed $83.1 Million Worldwide, Making It The Highest-Grossing R-Rated Animated Film Until 2016.
