Keeping Marchy off the ice during a game would prove to be impossible. The guy loves his teammates, wants to win and often times carries the team on his back. I think limiting time in practice and increasing maintenance days would pay dividends for him, especially towards the end of the regular season when the team is preparing for a potential playoff run. I’m looking forward to next season and seeing the new additions put on the spoked B. The offseason feels like it takes forever for us hockey fans down here in Florida. Keep up the great work covering our beloved Bruins!

The way he put his team on his back against the Leafs was Brady like.

You know it fam, you'd have to chain Marchand outdide TD too kerp him out of a game. Like you said, limit his practice time...

I could see Brad playing less PK time. Maybe not even play it at all with the current group of guys they have. Aside from that? I don't see load management as likely. If anything they might try the perfection line again. Lindholm can be made better by having better wingers. If they want to optimize Lindholm performance Pasta and Brad on his wings is the best chance you have to see him scored 30 goals or more and 70 points or more. Brad's still a high level talent. He can't take over whole games anynore. But he can still entirely take over periods and can be a difference maker. And unlike your "new core" guys like Pasta, and McAvoy, Brad still performs in the playoffs. This last year he was second in scoring and played 2.5 less games than Debrusk who had 1 point more. The year before he was tied in playoff scoring with Bertuzzi. This team needs Brad to productive as things currently stand. They don't have a next guy up to replace him. It seemed like for a time it might be Lysell but he doesn't have nearly the two way game that Brad does and if he makes the team at all this year it'd surprise me.

We're not that far removed from being the best regular season team ever so It's not a pipe dream that we could win a Stanley Cup.

ROFLMAO! If Zadorov thinks the Bruins have the best chance of winning a cup!?!? He is just telling Bruins fans what they want to hear. I hate to break it to you Bruins fans, they are not even close to winning a cup. They overachieved last year. They weren't as good as their record suggested, and the playoffs showed that. Lucky win in ot against the Leafs, and out in the 2nd round against the Panthers. It ain't happening any time soon for them.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. While their defence and goaltending are close to good enough to win, the forward core needs a LOT of work. They are missing a true #1 C and AT LEAST one elite scoring winger. Not exactly easy to find pieces.

#1 center is Lindholm that why bruins signed him. Rest of core is weak so ultimately I agree with you both. Depth scoring is a problem. Now if swayman gets bag. He will have bad year . Players play good on contract years after they sign letdowns. Now ullmark on contract year he wins vezina in Ottawa. Ullmark is better goalie. I remain firm with that an there return was horrible. Sweeney should have got axe
