SOT Nzanga Mobutu, Mobutu's san,(english) :"There is no problem. The president has agreed on a meeting with Kabila. Just the time frame and place (need to be decided).. there is no specific problem for the holding of these meetings";
SOT Nzanga Mobutu "The US and Belgium (say that) What do the (Zairean) people think? The only way to let them express what they want we have to go through elections? We can't let boots and guns all over the place, it's just unbearable. I think the only fair way to express the democratic claims is to go through elections. The USA and Belgium believe in democracy.
SOT, Nzanga Mobutu : "There is a great problem of mismanagement in this country. Whether its the ministers or CO's of public companies, and I think this is the problem of the justice mministry. I only hope is that we find a positive solution on agreement around two points -- cease fire and elections, because otherwise there will be turmoil in Zaire and
turmoil in all Africa....";
