The safari is coming to an end. What we've seen we'll surely be telling our neighbours all about. It's time for a more beachy and exotic adventure on the island of Zanzibar where we're flying to from the Kilimanjaro airport. We get there late in the evening where an arranged taxi from our hotel is waiting for us. On the way, however, it turns out that the taxi driver has slightly different plans than us regarding our trip...
In the end, we'll get to Stone Town where we'll spend a few days walking around the neighbourhood, visiting the recommended sights and soak in the climate of the city that may not so easy to visit but certainly stand out from among the rest.
We spend almost a week in Zanzibar at the beginning of January. We have two main bases: the first being the capital of the island with its historic city centre - Stone Town. The other one is a village Jambiani, famous for calm, locality and blissful seaside views. We'll show and tell you what our stay looked like, you'll see the nearby attractions, beaches, architecture, daily life in the city and a fishing village, types of accommodation, barkers' attacks, food, tour offers and some other interesting facts about Zanzibar.
Our trip to Tanzania took place at the beginning of 2020. In two weeks we did a safari near Arusha and stayed in the blissful island of Zanzibar.
