In this video, I do a quick overview and review of the absolutely lovely Zeiss 35mm F/1.4 Distagon deep breath wow that's a lot. This was my first lens for my Leica and honestly I've probably taken most of my favorite photos with it. I'm thrilled to have the Leica 35mm Summicron now as well to accompany it, but before I make a video with some photos from that we gotta pay respects to the OG. You'll notice that all the photos in this video have a film border, that's because they were //actually// shot on film. They were all developed by Carmencita film lab, who are based out of Spain (really great lab). They also do color correction on their scans so I don't really make any assertions regarding color bias in the video, but I have found in general that the scans from this lens have a cooler tint in comparison to my Summicrons. I briefly touch on the oft made comparison to the Leica Summilux, but alas, I cannot show you direct comparison myself (if you want to send one in for review though my Insta dms are open ;). Above all, thanks for watching! :D
