Cam The Man yeah look it’s hard to defend Jeff Varner here in today’s society especially, but we have to remember at the end of the day he initially played survivor in an era where this kind of talk and truth telling being raised was not much of an issue and reasonable mentality. So at that moment he was fighting for his life and retreated back to his old roots from Australia outback era kind of pitching to stay in, as if this was back in 2000 this exact same thing brought up, I bet ya his tribe mates would have taken what he said into account and use that as a basis to vote say Zeke off due to the attitude back then. Sure it’s been well over half a decade since but Jeff just started talking the 2000 Aussie outback era attitude

Willie Turner lol you must have forgotten how survivor was back in the original days, remember how Rob outed some bloke there was no reaction to it as it was that kind of era where that would slide, and I can assure you Varner did here if replicated in his initial season, it would have worked in his favour to sway votes as that’s how survivor was back then, honesty was appreciated a lot and hiding was frowned upon. Varner did what he did purely off instinctive retreating to save his survivor life in the game and chose a route in which back in his initial season in Aussie outback would have viewed as ok.

I don't know how a human being could be capable of spewing personal information about someone like he did. That was a total dick move, and I hope karma has paid him a visit many times over. That could have pushed a weaker person over the edge.

I feel very bad for Zeke and he didn’t deserve it. But I also feel a little bad for Varner because he was very desperate and wanted to make the jury so bad and threw everything he could, it just was stupid what he did

Varner is such a fake ally. At first, he says “I fight for the rights of trans people every day. I would never hurt anyone here.” Then, two seconds later, he tells Jeff, “I’m arguing for my life. I feel like I have to throw everything at the wall.” It just sounds so inauthentic. At first, he seemed passionate about standing up for trans people, but then he feels burdened, as if to say, “Oh, what do I have to do to get everyone to stop yelling at me”

He thought he was gonna save himself by throwing Zeke under the bus by outing him, He thought the tribe would be outraged at Zeke. He quickly realized it was an idiotic misfire and tried to go on damage control. Too late.

Varner is the 2nd worst competitor ever to play Survivor, my list of Worst Competitors are as follows #1) Dan Spilo (WORST!!!). #2) Jeff Varner, #3) Colton Cumbie #4) Abi-Maria Gomes #5) Pete Yurkowski #6) Sophie Clarke

@@thewachannel4537 Wasn't unnecessary since it worked in his favor. RC and Abi we're the closest so he needed to split them up. Not only was the way he split them up smart but it actually worked.

@@bomberdawesome those two were probably falling out with or without Pete planting the idol, he just so happened to light the match. Overall, it did help his game as he gained control of the tribe and had the numbers at the merge before Skupin and Lisa backstabbed him.

He really thought he was making some slam dunk case for being kept on the island. “That’s not the intention I had.” Your intention was to throw someone under the bus to save yourself.

This tribal began and I thought damn, Varner is on fire! Then just when I felt he was about to flip things, he went completely nuts. It's pretty much Michael Scott in The Office telling a killer joke, then immediately spoiling it by saying he'd shoot Toby twice over Hitler and Bin Laden.
